She's not the cowering delicate flower her attorney is going to try to make her out to be. I agree about her face - it's mean. Remember the birthday video? She makes me sick. I am so pissed they didn't charge her with Bella's murder. Big mistake IMO.

Exactly! The so called father who plans on spending every day at the trial....obviously he still hasn't gotten a job! I felt bad for him in the beginning...don't know why, not now! He just wants his fame obviously....but he doesn't realize it's not good fame he's getting!

I agree. I have no sympathy for any of these clowns who failed that child.

I am sure prosecutors would like nothing more than to charge the mother. So I assume the law does not support charging her. These laws need to be changed if so.

Completely agree! But like every other case LE always knows more than we do and they must not think they can get a conviction. I can only assume.

Bella's "mother" (and I put that in quotes, don't want to get TOS!) was charged, but unfortunately with not enough....

I'm guessing the blue bold of sentence above ^^ is the larceny charge?

What is Larceny?
Many states lump larceny into a general “theft” crime, others have a “felonious larceny” charge, and other states divide it into the misdemeanor charge of petty (sometimes spelled “petit&#8221 larceny and the felony charge of grand larceny based on the value of the property involved.

SO ridiculous that she will have 'time served'. That is NOT justice. Its the 'Casey Anthony' defense... keep the body hidden until they can't prove anything then play the 'poor me' card. How can ANYONE think this is ok? Just disgusted with some of these cases. And her 'sperm donor' who was NEVER there for her, now sits in the courtroom wanting justice. BS. He just wants attention.. and then will probably ask for money again. I just HATE this case.

Here you go Niner. Sounds like they have jurors & alternates. Opening statements are slated for Tuesday, Monday is a holiday (Memorial Day). Coverage should pick up next week. I still haven't found if this will be live streamed yet.

The defense attorney for the alleged killer in the Baby Doe child murder case may file an emergency appeal to the state’s highest court to delay the trial’s scheduled start on Tuesday after a Superior Court judge yesterday ordered him not to reference bizarre diary entries written by the state’s star witness, the girl’s mother, in his opening statement.

Saying Bond is “incredible and unreliable,” Shapiro yesterday sparred with Judge Janet Sanders over whether he can discuss Bond’s claims in the diary — called “Mama’s Dream Journal” — that she fought off a fake policeman who tried to rape her, and smashed a man in the head with a 45-pound barbell. The stories, Shapiro said, show Bond “was not afraid of anybody.”

Bond also described numerous bizarre images from her childhood in the diary, Shapiro said, including a young woman being tortured in a fiery pit that the lawyer argued “falls into the category of bizarre, satanic beliefs.”

Yes, this trial is also in the 'exact same' courtroom that AH's last trial was in. It is also even more bizarre that this trial somewhat resembles his last trial... one 'supposed' witness to the murder that received a plea deal for testifying... and also a 'colorful' cast of witnesses. I hope that Bella's trial does not turn out as AH's last trial did with a not guilty verdict. IMO RB should have also been tried for murder. I can only assume that they didn't have enough evidence to do so and they need a conviction for this for this highly publicized murder of this little girl. I surely hope that the decision the CW decided to do this will not be another failure for Bella. 'If' RB gets released after this, she will be viled and shunned wherever she goes and will most likely quickly implode to her old life again leading to her demise. IMO

I am wondering - if MM brings up new evidence pertaining to RB's dominance over him can new evidence result in new charges against RB?
