They just sent biodad out to discuss what they can question him about in front of jury on redirect/ recross. They specifically are addressing photos that were on a cell that had concerned biodad previously.

Sorry, I missed this & came back while they were doing voir dire with JA. Did he say that he saw photos that he thought Bella was drugged & dead from RB's phone, but then the CW recently gave him the photos with time stamps and he has now retracted that testimony?

I missed that part (was interrupted and muted the live feed) but it had something to do with pictures that initially alarmed him but later did not - yes perhaps due to time-date stamps. Also Shapiro kept asking in 57 ways if JA recently viewed all photos again or just those handed him by prosecution.

Wonder what has become of Amoroso. Seems like he is well spoken. I hope he has turned a leaf for his daughters memory. Jmo

He has a long criminal history, including many drug charges. He's been arrested twice since Bella was found and had warrants out for his arrest. Looks like he just was released from prison this spring. It's not easy to look up criminal history in MA, but there are news articles.

If he just got out a month ago, he might still be clean, but based on what I've seen of his history, he has not been able to stay clean for any length of time.

The further this trial goes, the harder it becomes to understand the State's decision to 1) charge RB as an accessory after the fact and then 2) agree to a plea deal.

ME's testimony includes Bella's body having lots of bruises- which does not match up to RB's testimony. No way to know if those bruises were from the day Bella died, or if she had been abused for a period of time before her death.

Amoroso's voir dire about the photos on the cell phone also seem to support abuse before Bella died- black eye, looked drugged, multiple pix on the mattress.

State blew this one big time. I can barely imagine the closing arguments.

From the pics of Bella on MMs lap and then the mattress pics, it makes me wonder if there was other abuse happening.... Could that be the defences defence? MM was abusing her but didn't kill her, RB knew about the abuse, and allowed it for a bag of H...
Scum of the earth, both of them if any of this is true...
