WOW, I don't think he had anything to do with it. I hope they throw out RB's plea deal. His answers sound very truthful and considering he may have still been on drugs from his surgery (speculating). This seals it for me.

Deakin is finished with Balducci, who tomorrow will face a likely lively cross-examination by Jonathan Shapiro!

Judge says something in the transcript went to the jury that was supposed to have been redacted.

OOps! On the not redacted part...
Okay - now I'm gone...

I think RB is framing MM and it will come out she is lying.

He knew after that she was blaming him. Consider the source. I would ask for a lawyer immediately too because LE already had him convicted by the sound of it. Just because she said he did it doesn't mean he did. She's the one with the long criminal history not him.

I am sitting here SMH. Is the prosecution *trying* to lose this?
I can't imagine why they would've played this tape.

Isn't she the one caught in all those lies that day giving her statement?

Must be something in there they want to impeach or perhaps so they hear good mother part. DA didn't care she lied.

From the beginning he seemed to me like a big doofus kind of guy, not devious or manipulative. I can't imagine him writing those texts about not mentioning Bella in housing court to be manipulating future investigation; he doesn't seem capable of thinking ahead and trying to cover his behind just in case. I do not see it.

I just can't for the life of me figure out what the CW sees that we don't. I wonder if they are regretting the charges.

Unbelievable.

The State brought a case against MM only based on a 45 minute interview with RB where she was either high or in withdrawal.

Balducci seemed like an amateur in his interview with MM. When MM said that Bella had been taken by DCF, Balducci failed to ask when was the last time MM saw the child. If Balducci was more skillful, he should have asked more detailed questions before letting it be known that Bella was dead, prompting MM to lawyer up.

Can't blame MM for lawyering up. Especially given where this case is now.

I will be beyond shocked if the jury finds MM guilty...of anything.

If this jury convicts I will be absolutely flabbergasted.

you and me both. Me thinks the pros might have charged the wrong loser. They are both losers IMHO, sad pathetic humans. But I am more and more convinced that either they did this together or RB did it alone and tried to pin it on this one, who ain't the smartest pot brownie in the oven.

That interview was mind-blowing. There is no way he was the manipulative, controlling boyfriend RB made him out to be. She is the calculated, manipulative one, and apparently she succeeded in manipulating law enforcement too. I am simply floored by the DA's decision to charge MM and give RB a deal. The whole thing is a travesty of justice and I fear no one will be held responsible for poor Bella's murder. How terribly tragic.
