Cameron jumped out of a van on Elm Street on Aug. 20 when it came to a stop near the courthouse and ran out of sight, according to a post on the Westfield Detective Bureau Facebook page.

The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m., police said.
Cameron is about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 115 pounds, has long brown hair which is usually tied in a ponytail and a scar on his forehead. He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt.

Be nice to have a little more info. My brain went between the lines thinking was Cameron being taken to the courthouse for a hearing or something and he ran to get out of whatever he was going to have to face? Whose van was it, who else was in it, who saw him get out and run?

Oh wait, just saw it was just before 9 pm so not court then. Sheesh. I need to read. Still, I wonder if it is related to him being in trouble and running away?

Westfield police detectives now say that Davis has been found and is safe. They thank members of the public for sharing information about the case.
