Police are looking for a 62-year-old Dorchester woman who went missing earlier this week. Darlene Whittier is described as African-American, 5 foot 6 with brown hair and eyes, Boston police said. She was reported missing Monday.

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public's help in their efforts to locate Ms. Darlene Whittier. She was reported missing on February 3, 2014. Ms. Whittier suffers from mental illness, but she is familiar with public transportation and knows how to use the phone. Ms. Darlene Whittier is able to communicate verbally and advocate for herself. She is described as an African American female, 5’6”, brown hair and eyes.
