Identified! MA - Dedham, Susan Anyanwu-Corbin, 22, Apr'17

Remains identified as Susan Anyanwu-Corbin, who was 22 years old when she went missing to the Boston Police. She likely lived in Hyde Park.

Anyanwu-Corbin disappeared in early or mid-February of 2016.

Investigators are now looking into how she disappeared and are asking people who may have seen her during that time to help them piece together what happened to her.

Police couldn't say whether there was or was not foul play involved. There was sufficient deterioration, but wouldn't comment further on the condition of the bones found.

"He said investigators aren't sure of how long Anyanwu-Corbin had been dead or what the cause of death was. Foul play has not been ruled out, but police have said there were no obvious signs of violence.

"This is not the end of the investigation," Morrissey said. "It's just a more difficult beginning."
He said investigators are trying to find out when Anyanwu-Corbin was last seen. Anyone who might have had contact with her either in person or on social media from mid-February of 2016 on is asked to contact the district attorney's office at 781-830-4990 or Dedham police at 781-751-9300."

It seems a lot of people who knew her (especially through her social media accounts) missed her deeply when she went missing. Very sad. I hope the family are some day able to find out what happened.

I'm confused as to why Bernard didn't file a missing persons report after making the police report about the ex-boyfriend attacking him in February 2016. So sad....
