Police say Keeley left in the victims’ car and could be driving in a 2019 black Jeep Wrangler. They expect him to have dyed red hair now and his nickname is “Crispy.” If you see Keeley, call 911.

If you search his name there are several offenses he’s had before this one. Robbery, selling marijuana, etc. LE says he was an acquaintance of the couple, makes me think maybe he was hired to do work or something and went back looking for money. What else would cause him to murder this couple? Moo. This one is in my state, so hits close to home.

For example,

Pulled over in Marshfield on September 14th on an intersecting street from where the crime took place. Listed address as the residence where the crime took place. Knowing that he's in the couple's vehicle, could he have been living there?

The DA was very ambiguous in the presser around how he knew them - just saying they were 'acquainted' . Would not say he 'stole' the vehicle.

Me too—my first thought on seeing his mugshot was, “Wow, that dude has an extremely…punchable face.“
I wonder how the unfortunate couple became acquainted with this low-life—if they were not related to him, which would have been my first guess, then did they connect through church, volunteer work, etc.?

There is a LinkedIn profile page for a Vicki Mattson of Marshfield, MA, which shows she appears to have worked at Home Depot. If that is the same Vicki Mattson as the deceased woman, I’ll wager that may be how the couple became acquainted with Keeley.

Sheez. All those priors and Keely's running around free to victimize innocent people as he wishes.
Wow. Just wow.

“At a news conference, DA Cruz said Keeley has a history of mental health issues but provided no specifics. One of his former addresses is listed as a men’s sober house in Quincy.”

In one of those cases from 2016, [snip]...attack on a 21-year-old man with autism. [Snip]

Keeley’s other priors include:
  • Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle
  • Breaking and Entering Daytime (Felony)
  • Possession and Distribution of Drugs x2
  • Operating on Suspended License x2
  • A&B on Family Member
All of Keeley’s prior cases are listed as “closed” or “disposed.”

According to court documents, the victims were found just inside their Gotham Drive home with evidence of a struggle including an overturned bookcase. The couple was likely attacked last week, and it was a friend of Keeley's who asked police to do a check on the home telling them Keeley had been living with the couple as a favor to a family member, but had recently been asked to leave.

The documents say Keeley told a friend it was an argument over a barking dog that led to the attack, and that Keeley had been recently acting "psychotic" and told the friend he was feeling an urge to hurt people, including the couple he lived with, and was known to carry knives.

According to the documents, Keeley was angry and fearful he would end up homeless after a woman who had considered letting Keeley stay with her in Weymouth threw him out.

I hope this Crispy dude gets his just rewards

It is sad that a family member would ask this 70 yr old couple to allow this long time violent felon with mental health issues, to move into their home. I don't understand. Why didn't the family member move him into their own home?

Appears Keeley had been living in the Mattson home since august. Allegedly had a relationship/friendship with the Mattson’s adult son, Jeffrey, who up until recently also resided at the home. Jeffrey recently moved out of state, but Chris stayed in the house until the Mattson’s asked him to leave last week. They deserved better.

On Thursday, Quincy lawyer Kathleen Fay issued a statement on behalf of Keeley's family. She said they were contacted early Wednesday morning and told "the Massachusetts state police were looking to question Christopher in relation to a situation in Marshfield."

"The Mass State Police have been given the full cooperation of Mr. Keeley’s family. The events that are alleged to have occurred are shocking and truly devastating to all involved," she wrote. "Our hearts go out to the entire Mattson family for their unspeakable loss. At this point in time, the Keeley family respectfully requests that members of the media please respect their privacy as they begin to process this senseless tragedy."
