The man accused of bludgeoning an elderly Massachusetts couple to death in their home has been arrested in Florida, putting an end to a days long manhunt, authorities announced Saturday.

Miami Police arrested 27-year-old Christopher Keeley around 8:20 p.m. on Friday night in Miami Beach.

Vicki L Mattson (Fryer), age 70, was taken from her family and friends unexpectedly on November 29, 2022 in her and her husband's Marshfield home. Vicki was born, raised and educated in Weymouth, where she graduated from Weymouth High School in 1970. She began dating Buddy at the age of 15 years old and they remained inseparable ever since. This upcoming year would have been their 50th wedding anniversary.

After marrying Vicki, they started a family in Brockton and then soon settled in Marshfield where they have created so many fond memories together. Buddy and Vicki lived their lives well and full, never turning down an opportunity for adventure including camping in Maine or going to Disney with the whole family. They could often be seen together at various casinos with Buddy always touting (whether it be true or not) how he had won more than Vicki, and had thus escaped with money in his pocket!
