"Those who are around the victim may report items that seem out of place being found in the offenders possession, such as children's clothing, or other items the victim may have had on their person"

Correction this is supposed to say "those who are around the offender"

The quality speaks to the believably or trustworthiness of the writer.

I tend to steer away from podcasts, Tiktok, Youtube true crimers, and sensationalistic true crime writers. I will make exceptions. I am not seeing an extensive body of journalistic reports from this Richard Price. I am mainly seeing one guest column in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette.
He was a writer for the local Grafton paper, and he got to know the Piiranean family well over the years as that’s where Holly was from. That is probably what makes his podcast most interesting, the fact you hear directly from Holly’s family. That to me is what makes it worth listening too. He’s not just a random person but he has a direct connection ti her family.

My suggestion would be to give it a listen before judging it. For nothing else hearing directly from family members was worth it.

To add to the last line.. people admit to killing adults all the time, but when it comes to the kids, nobody wants to ever admit they are that evil, especially in prison! (They don't take kindly to child killers, even there)
Perhaps but I recall in other cases admissions coming out in prison for cases involving missing children.

'Investigators in western Massachusetts will hold a DNA swabbing event hoping to find new leads in the cold case murder of Holly Piirainen. The 10-year-old girl left her grandparents' home in 1993 and never returned. Her body was found months later, but no one has ever been charged in her death.

Thursday, Oct. 23, marks 32 years since Holly's remains were found in the woods off Five Bridge Road in Brimfield, Massachusetts, 65 miles southwest of Boston.''
