Stephanie Vaczy, 35, is one of two missing women on the North Shore. She called her family from a hospital in Haverhill at 10 a.m., according to her aunt Jodi Hill. Hill says Vaczy was missing for close to two weeks. /Her aunt said she does not remember anything about the past few days and said she couldn't remember if she had any contact with the other missing woman, 25-year-old Jaimee Mendez of Swampscott. The search continues for Mendez. /On Tuesday, investigators focused on a Spring Street home in Lynn, which the state Sex Offender Registry Board lists as an address of 29-year-old Jason James Fleury, a Level 3 sex offender. Investigators towed a van from the house to the Swampscott Police Station. This is the second van they have taken; officers took another van of his over the weekend. /Officials have not named Fleury as a suspect, but Mendez's says she was with him when they last heard from her. /"We are just doing our best to find any new piece of information," said Alyssa Mendez. /Fleury's mother, who did not want to be identified, spoke exclusively to FOX 25's Ted Daniel and said Jason told her he was with Mendez the day she vanished, but claims to have nothing to do with it. /According to the Mendez family, Jaimee was last seen Thursday at around 5 p.m. at Rite Aid on Lewis Street in Lynn. /Fleury's mother said Fleury claims he dropped Mendez off there, and then immediately returned home for dinner. /"Wait for the truth to come out," his mother said. /But Mendez's family says they already know enough. Jaimee's sister says Jaimee called two friends Thursday to say she was with Fleury and that he was making her nervous. They also say a piece of rug similar to the rug in Fleury's van was found in a dumpster behind a Lynn CVS. /The Salem Police Chief said in a press conference on Thursday that the search for Mendez is "well choreographed," with K9 units going in first, then ATVs, then an organized ground search. The chief said that over 100 officers were present for the search, which could go until dark.
