Are you local to Lynn Xara? I've been wondering how their weather has been, since many other states have already seen snow (including mine, VA). If they get hit with a bunch of snow, it's hard to say when Jaimee will be found.

There was just an update on the FJMFB page upping the reward to include her father's Harley, no questions asked, no police and family will personally deliver the reward (paraphrasing). I'm not too sure about this approach and makes me a little worried. Just guessing here but it seems family has lost all confidence in LE to try to go around them. Of course MOO. Wonder what LE would say to the family regarding this new move?

Her family is giving the search everything they have, materially, physically and spiritually. More power to them.

Not Xara, but Lynn is not far from where I am in Connecticut and it has been snowing since early this morning and switched to freezing rain in the evening. I hope wherever Jaimee is, she is warm and healthy.

The LE may not like this idea but I understand the Mendez family's reason for doing it. Jaimee appears to be truly loved and they are doing everything they can think to do to get her back. This case strikes a cord with me because its pretty local and Jaimee is the spitting image of a girl that lived in my neighborhood. I havent seen the girl in a while (probably a month) and everytime I see Jaimee's picture on the news, I swear it is her. The only reasons I dont believe they are the same girl is because the one time I spoke with my neighbor, she never mentioned having a child, but told me she loved kids and would babysit mine if I ever needed. And the other reason is that I have not heard anything of Jaimee ever living in my town in CT (on the MA border) and I would assume from all I have read that Jaimee's son would have been with her.

I want to thank all of you working to keep Jaimee in the spotlight, even if it is with good wishes and heartfelt prayers. I cant help but think of her son and his confusion. If for no other reason,that should be enough for someone to go to a pay phone and call anonymously or head to a library and send an email.

According to JM's sister, JF sort of lived out of his van (not entirely sure why), so the bedroom setup doesn't sound too unreasonable IMO.

After a little lull on the FJMFB page they are asking for volunteers again to push forward as well as media links to get her back in the spotlight. Looks like a bit of a change for the admins on the page but not noteworthy IMO If there is in fact a warm up coming in the area this is the time to pull all resources to search! My thoughts are prayers remain with her family...

Sorry for not responding sooner, I just saw this.

I am about 30 miles north of Lynn, on the NH border.

We got about 6-8 inches of snow here. Don't think we are expecting any more for the time being. The weather patterns are weird here though, things can change quickly.
It is pretty cold right now.....26 degrees.

It does look like we are expecting a bit of a warm up starting tomorrow. So the snow should melt and conditions should be better for searchers.
