Missing since 2005, authorities offer $10,000 to help find John Bui Tran

John Bui Tran was last seen on April 2, 2005 at a party on Mitchell Street in Randolph, Massachusetts, according to authorities, who are now turning to the public for assistance in locating him or his remains.

Tran was described as an Asian man with black hair and brown eyes. At the time he went missing, he was 28-years-old, approximately 5 feet 4 inches in height and weighed approximately 130 pounds, police said.

Just heard about this missing persons case via the Yahoo article. Very sad.

Unfortunately, it's not surprising that there are very few details about JBT's disappearance. Other than that he was last seen at a party, there aren't really any other details/clues as to what happened here.

However, I suspect that - unfortunately - he did not just vanish on his own to start a new life somewhere else.

John's profile was updated on NamUs today; I just saw it on the Dashboard.
I think a FBI poster has been added today. (Click on paperclip icon then on poster to enlarge)
