Police seek missing disabled Saugus man -

Police described Joseph Martin, 61, as disabled and non-verbal. He was being monitored by a GPS device but the GPS signal was lost, police said. Martin was last seen Saturday at the MBTA Wonderland Station in Revere at about 3 p.m.

He may be with the homeless population on Boston Common or near Downtown Crossing in Boston, according to police.

SPECIAL ATTENTION: Transit Police, Boston, Saugus, Arlington, Melrose and Malden

Joseph Martin was last seen at the MBTA Wonderland Station in Revere on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 3:00 PM. Joseph is disabled and non-verbal, but should have identification on his person and a black GPS monitoring bracelet on his wrist (not functioning). He was last seen wearing a red jacket, black pants, black shoes, and a black stocking cap.

Joseph has had similar wandering incidents in Arlington, Malden and Melrose, and has previously lost his direction on the MBTA.

Joseph may be with the homeless population at Boston Common or in the Downtown Crossing area of Boston.

Anyone who sees, might have seen, or has information on Joseph Martion is urged to contact Saugus Police at 781-231-4000 or by dially 911 by a cell phone.
