Her roommate and sister are posting about her. I know I can’t share SM links but something sounds fishy here ... left her cell phone at her employer’s house, left in workout clothes to walk her dog, never returned.

LE needs to post more about this....like that she wasn't last seen in Franklin but in Dedham, according to her friend. People should know where she last was.

That's Franklin for you though. I grew up there and still go there to see family. Cops are not exactly top notch.

She is a nanny, it may not have been convenient for her to go get her phone, it is odd to me she left it for that long. Also she wasn’t walking Jimmy they left in her car which is yet to be found.

Does she have any history of dropping off the grid without telling anyone?

Her roommate was the first to declare her missing. This is NOT a habit of hers to go off the grid. She was involved with a talent agency in July but to my knowledge nothing ever came of it. I do not want to disclose too much personal information of hers as Kayla is a private person. She doesn’t have any enemies or had any issues with other people.

Kayla does not drink, she does not have a boyfriend but she does love to travel. She has friends all over, Colorado, California, Virginia... I do find it very shocking she wouldn’t take her phone or tell her sister. She also really likes her job and would never leave them high and dry without notice... she’s always had a wonderful work ethic.

Need to always be skeptical of "last seen" accounts. Seen by who? It is unusual to disappear with a dog in the daylight, or to have no one see you after the walk.

Without backup, these concrete statements are not concrete at all. Kayla's disappear may have occurred the night before.

EDITED- follow up on the Franklin Police Facebook page. You can find her roommates post with a lot of information. Her last sighting appears to be reliable. More info beyond that.

Was the phone definitely left at friends on Wednesday or is it the friend saying now, after she’s been missing, that the phone was left there on Wednesday? If LE pinged the phone once she was reported missing and it pinged at the friends address the friend would have to have an excuse as to why and when the phone was left there. Know what I mean?

UPDATED: Police continuing search for missing Franklin woman

SABBM:

Police Sgt. Brian Johnson on Monday afternoon said she was last seen at her Franklin apartment by her roommate, and that she left in her car.

Johnson Monday afternoon said detectives were actively working on the search, interviewing family and friends and surveying social media.

The investigation, he said, was “a little bit hampered by the fact she doesn’t have her cell phone.” He noted when someone has their cell phone it can be easier to locate them.

The phone, he said, was given over to police, but they have been unable to access it in search of potential clues because it is locked.

Sounds like LE is going to need to get a warrant in order to get that phone unlocked.

She left her phone at the house she nannies at. The police retrieved the phone from there and have it now. I’m quite certain they have access as her sister reactivated her Facebook for her.

She was in her car- not on foot. She did have her dog with her. What confuses me was her last whereabouts know at 1 am. I have no clarification on this.
