Looks like he hasn't been since since the 16th, but wasn't reported missing until a week later on the 23rd. It's taken nearly a week for the information to be released to the public? Ugh.

I have mutual friends with Mr. Quirk. I asked about illness and was told there "may be issues." I don't know what that means and didn't get any more details, so I guess it's a privacy thing. (New England people do not like information about their health and behavior being made public.)

That link was updated four days ago (March 23) to say that Leonard is still missing.

Earlier today there were reports that a body had been pulled from the water in Waltham. It was said to be an adult male. But the article has been pulled and I can't find any other reference to it. I'm not sure what's going on.

A body recovered from the Charles River April 22 has been identified as missing Waltham man Leonard "Lenny" Quirk, the Middlesex County District Attorney said Thursday.

No foul play suspected.
