"I miss him. I just want to bring him home. That was my best friend, my son," Gonzalez said. "I know someone knows something. I just want someone to come forward."
Police said Oliveras, 24, was last seen at 1 a.m. on Sept. 2, 2006, outside the former Platinum Plus strip club on Riverside Street in Portland.
Gonzalez said she believes her son, whom family and friends called Mickey, was lured there.
"I honestly think that my son was set up. That's why the female sent for him," Gonzalez said.
Miguel Oliveras, 24, was last seen in Portland, Maine, on Sept. 2, 2006, before he disappeared.
The investigation revealed Oliveras came to visit a woman he knew who worked at the strip club. Gonzalez said the woman sent her son bus money and asked him to come. Gonzalez said the woman picked him up at the bus station and the two went to the club.
