Hadley police ask public for help locating missing 26-year-old man

Hadley, Massachusetts -
Hadley Police are asking for the public for help locating a 26-year-old man reported missing Friday morning.

Kermensky was reported missing by his family at 5:04 a.m. Friday, according to a post on the Hadley Police Department's Facebook page.

"Nathan's vehicle was located in Northampton, near the bike path parking area," police said. "A phone ping was conducted which was consistent with the vehicle location."



The Gazette reported that firefighters from several departments all had search boats in the river, while police conducted ground searches along the riverbanks Friday morning.

Kermensky's black Buick Regal sedan was found parked with its keys inside in the parking lot of the recreation area on Damon Road near the Calvin Coolidge Bridge, according to the Daily Hampshire Gazette.

Authorities wrapped up their ground search for Kermensky earlier on Tuesday. That effort has included searching the Connecticut River and the area around the Norwottuck Rail Trail parking lot near the base of the Calvin Coolidge Bridge in Northampton, where Kermensky's car was found Friday...

"He has been entered as missing nationally, so if anyone in law enforcement comes across him, we will know," Hadley Police Sgt. Mitchell Kuc said.

Nathan has been missing for more than a month and his family is putting out an appeal to anyone who may have information about his whereabouts to come forward.

His car, a black Buick Regal sedan, was found parked with the key still inside at the Ewell State Park Recreational Area on Damon Road near the bike path.
