And it looks like the judge agrees.
Decides to send them home.

A reminder while there is voir dire tomorrow, the jury has the day off.
Judge says don’t watch TV, warning about a heatwave, thanks them for dressing respectfully for the court.
Jurors won’t be back in court until Thursday.

So Bev is going to let today go long to give Lally a chance to end on some bombshell text so that the jury can think about for 2 days before court is back with jurors. If this had the the defense, they would have stopped on time by the second. Unbelievable how biased she it! 
To me, this kind of comes across like she felt like he was ignoring her and she was saying something to try to get him to respond. JMO

Well he kept screwing around so she sent them home without any kind of bombshell.
Right? They’re clearly not in a great place, and likely the relationship was not going to last much longer, but then the tone changes and they’re making plans for the evening.
Some people actually can have disagreements and be over it fairly soon. My brother and his girlfriend are like this. They have a spat and it’s over, neither holds a grudge. If necessary they agree to talk it over later when they’ve had time to think on it.

Texts from 12:55-1:04 AM on 1/29/22 from Karen to John. She says she's going home. Writes, "your kids are kucking ALONE" then says she's in Mansfield and the kids are home alone. Based on prior testimony, Karen was at John's house in Canton at this time.

They were both spouting off ( childishly IMO ) in those texts. Each of them suffering and dealing with their own feelings of a challenging relationship. But.....fast forward to McCarthy's B&G. Those two were pretty satisfied with their relationship, by the looks of things. Murder? No

Sounds a classic tale, she did say she wanted to limit the four of them, but they were a part of him and his life. Strife was being had, of course he was tired of it and she sounds like she wanted more of a solid commitment to HER. Any woman would say, you need to leave, it's run it's course for YOU. Sad and forever a classic situation. Know your worth.
NOTE: The jurors did NOT hear this. No one in the courtroom did. The microphone is for the live stream feed only, and the courtroom doesn’t hear anything through the mic. Which is why she’s constantly telling them to speak up but we can hear them fine while watching.
She did come out to see him in that weather and impending storm, with hopes. He's fine as long as no issuesssss brought up. Now I know why she was bent on drinking like that. Clearly something was up to me when first made known. NOTHING to do with her in a rage and flying back at him, more hurt and upset than anything like that. JO was going to do what he wanted to do, which was to continue on. Sounds like she was also waiting for him to text her back once he got in, need a ride? Should I come in, (no way was she though I'd say). He didn't as we know why. She left.

I'm giving this day to the Defense..AGAIN. The accident "specialist" was a HUUUUGE loss. The rest of the day was spent defending Jen Mcabe..Again! Oh and there were some texts were shown by another trooper of a couple having a pretty mild argument that barely qualifies as an argument let alone a rage killing. Another waste of time!

Sounds oh so typical when tired of the stress and having to DEAL with emotional gf and being needy (to him in this case). He just wanted to keep the status quo but there are two people involved, well FOUR and emotions and human beings are complicated. No one was actively breaking off this relationship which needed to as he was always having the kids come first and KR need to emotionally come first with him as well. He was a guy, doing the best he could without having to say, you leave, i'll take the shellacking. TIMELESS. Causing the raging at her she referred to on her earlier that morn, she came back for more, to understand.. it is sad for her.
