@BienickWCVB

Scordi-Bello says she was provided with the police report, O'Keefe's medical records and toxicology reports. The last showed he had alcohol in his body.

Did either Dr. Stonebridge or Dr. Scordi-Bello provide an approximate time of death? I may have missed it. TIA

I mean, Proctor told us it was a car accident. Why can't you just take his word for it? :D
You think a punch has the force necessary to cause that damage to his skull??

  • #204
The blunt force needed to crack his skull like that - is Karen Read’s SUV
The prosecution doesn't believe it was the SUV that caused the head wounds.

Their reconstructionist testified that the only part of his body that hit the SUV was his arm.

No, but I would imagine falling into a free weight could

Did they check for DNA? Wasn't his clothes improperly bagged up together? Has there not been an absolute disregard for proper procedures when collecting and storing evidence?
Come on now! They used a fresh, new package of solo cups! What more could we ask for??

O’Keefe body after being hit launched his body close to 25 MPH - that force is transferred - when he hit the ground. At impact, he hit it going close to 25 MPH -

Truth be told - this hit & run has FAR MORE EVIDENCE to support a conviction than any case I have ever seen. EVER

Okay, but you said John's head injury came from the SUV. I was just pointing out that the prosecution doesn't agree with that.

Could the injuries have come from hitting the ground after being hit by a car? Sure. They could have also come from being punched and hitting the ground. Or falling and hitting some metal object (like a piece of gym equipment or the fire hydrant). The ME's testimony hasn't ruled anything out.

If so why didn't the ME say that? I wonder...

An interesting theory worth considering. Can you please clarify which portion and surface(s) of the vehicle and where it struck JOK?

IIRC there was a laceration to the rear of the victim’s head? MOO

Falling on the concrete and hitting your head does. People can, and do, fall down during fights.

Well I worry about the ones you've seen then.

Now I know you're being facetious. Plenty of hit-and-runs have eyewitnesses to the actual event. Or video cameras capturing the moment of the hit including a clear shot of the license plate and the driver.

This is why is so important to have a responsible designated driver or plans to take Uber, Lyft or a taxi.
No one should drink & drive or get in a car with someone that has.

I think that’s why this case bothers me so much. It never should have happened and everyone involved knew better.
