How long can the jury deliberate today?

A strong altered statement is called an untruth. moo
Yes. That or a lie or a manufactured statement or some such.The jury can review testimony during deliberations and I feel they will review Jen McCabe's for sure given she's proven to have lied numerous times under oath. Moo

He came out swinging ‘I hit him x4. Very strong even if altered from ‘Did I hit him’
This means you thing Jenn McCabe is a truthful witness?

Just for the record

The jury returns. So does the judge.

Judge thanks the jury and begins her instructions. She will give them some legal definitions, the elements of the crimes charges and guidelines for deliberating.

The judge is explaining reasonable doubt. She's using some of the same language she did when speaking to each of the jury pools.

A little late to the party, listening to closing, re the comment about KR calling JO 53 times, was it ever mentioned if KR attempted to contact anyone at the Albert house when trying to locate him?
At that point I believe KR couldn't actually remember dropping JOK off at the Albert's. Her last memory was the waterfall.

Sorry for the break. I was unable to reconnect to the court wifi, and the cell service wasn't working either. Yes, I turned the phones on and off.By now you know that Lally was given a 5 minute warning, as Jackson received, and a one minute warning...

...and the judge stopped him because he ran over time.Many of the jurors looked like they had checked out, and I'm not going to put that all on Lally because they had been sitting there without a break for two hours. But even the most reliably attentive jurors were gazing off.

The jurors got a five minute break, and now they are back and Judge Cannone is giving them the jury instructions, which should take about an hour.

I would guess at least 2 minutes, and what does he do with it, plays a stupid video
Really? Seriously that is bias right there. He should not have been allowed to. Jackson managed his time

@JHall7news

The court is back in session and Judge Beverly Cannone tells the jurors they are about to deliberate. She is instructing them concerning the law. Cannone says she will read them. "You must take the law as I give it to you."

Brian Albert is on camera during the entirety of Alan Jackson's closing. I find myself watching him very closely. Lots of explanations for him looking very uncomfortable, but I know what my explanation of that is...

How will the foreperson & jurors be selected? Judge Cannone will select a foreperson, the rest of jurors' numbers will be entered into a lottery, and the remaining 11 jurors will be chosen.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

I honestly didn't know anything about how the victim family feels about Karen or anyone else involved.

The judge is now instructing the jury on how to consider any problems with the police investigation. She says they can decide to exclude or give less weight to elements of the investigation if they feel it is not credible.
