Random thoughts of the day.

What do you think goes through all of these people's minds throughout the course of the lives outside the courtroom? You know they have colleagues, families, social friends, etc... They go home and have dinner and hang out and go to social events. I would imagine they try hard not to pay too much attention to social media or the media in general, but certainly they would have people in their ear. It's only natural. These people aren't living in a world like Severance (IFKYK.)

So what are people saying to them? Do any of Bev's colleagues give her criticism? Ot do they cheer her on? Or do they simply ignore everything. It's just that I know these people don't live a vaccuum - even the jurors - and wonder what goes on inside their heads.

She is admitting Dr. Wolfe's and IIRC it is very similar to Dr. Rentschler's, so at least there's that.

I am glad she said she's "think about" giving a stronger admonishment about Brennan's "mistake" of insinuating the cuts to the back of the hoodie were damage caused my the (nonexistent) 'collision', I doubt she actually will, but at least she didn't say NO right off.

It's the excellent slide with all the arm wounds, compared with hoodie holes, that really detailed, clear one that this judge said no to. Straight up, denial of motion, at her discretion, no reason necessary. I would guess her rationale is, every little bit helps, chip away where she can. She'll help brennan in these little ways where ever possible in my opinion. Give it her best shot.

For me - it was the photo of JOKs arm. The moment I first saw it I said that those were absolutely from a dog attack. And then from there, so many other AHA moments came about. But I initially thought she was guilty until I saw that arm.

There is nothing in there which states that every member of the crew is to prepare individual reports. They refer to 'each service', which they complied with.

I think it's been like that for many, many people. Moo this is one of the reasons why brennan worked to have the wonderfully detailed and clear Rentschler slide excluded from trial exhibits the jury can access during deliberations, and why at her discretion this judge agreed and ruled against the defense.jmo

And charge 400k for the ‘right answer’. When you hear that arc a was only paid 50k for their actual scientific evidence. That’s a HUGE discrepancy. Moo

Can you imagine how much more testing ARCCA could have done if they had the money?

Imagine how people that do not have the money and resources that KR has had? They would have tried for a plea deal at this point, innocent or not. JMO

No change although she is leaving it hanging officially until the last moment when she will make it official, probably about 8.30 am tomorrow. The defense will be prepping their closing argument in line with her making no changes I would guess. They know it's a no already. Jmo

I recall FF/P McLaughlin state that KR made these statements in front of a police officer, imo. Did that officer put in his report that he heard it? LEO’s have to document everything in their reports. I don’t recall hearing that testimony about the police report, but I could’ve missed it.

Interesting considering YB testified that he called the ME early that morning to let her know that he was at a party and there may have been an altercation. So no LEO or medical staff told him anything about "I hit him, I hit him, I hit him". It wasn't until he met with the Mc/Alberts at McCabe's home that he heard anything. That is a pretty significant thing that should have been told to the lead investigators when the case was turned over to MSP. IMO

There are WAY too many things that don't pass the smell test in this case.

I can't pin it down to one thing but well maybe that fact that EVERYONE at 34F pretty much lied at every opportunity.

And then The Honorable Judge Cannone's gross bias in favor of the CW.

If it's not a 'vast conspiracy' it is without doubt a group effort to hide the truth and pin it on KR.

This ALL could have been avoided. The reason it happened this way should deeply disturb anyone who cares about justice and the rule of law.

I think I started watching the trial last year around the time that Proctor was testifying... pretty sure this was me watching him the whole time...
