What was your first AHA moment when you looked at this case and felt she was not guilty?

For me - it was the photo of JOKs arm. The moment I first saw it I said that those were absolutely from a dog attack. And then from there, so many other AHA moments came about. But I initially thought she was guilty until I saw that arm.

How is it funny?

It wasn't her designated role to write a report, as the ambulance driver. She reported it to police and her testimony was corroborated by other witnesses.

She was found as another liar. No credible info from her. Imo

This is the same for me. I've photographed lots of police K-9 demonstrations and have seen dozens of them attack people's arms (with protective gear of course) and JOK's arm looked exactly like where I saw them chomp down. Then the excessive butt dials and the fact that none of the people came out of the house. If there was a dead body on any lawn on my street, even the quiet neighbors would come outside to see the commotion.

I recall FF/P McLaughlin state that KR made these statements in front of a police officer, imo. Did that officer put in his report that he heard it? LEO’s have to document everything in their reports. I don’t recall hearing that testimony about the police report, but I could’ve missed it.

I'm surprised this is such a collaborative meeting! I didn't realize the instructions of a case was done in such cooperation between the court/defense/prosecution.

Yanetti gave a suggestion of instructions more clear on the counts. This was the major problem last time that caused a mistrial. This was confirmed with jurors post trial. I think Bev wants to cause that confusion again. I can't believe it. She almost laughed at him for suggesting changes.

The Defense should during closing warn the jury ahead of time to not hesitate if they don't understand something. Is it true that NOT GUILTY was not on jury form at T!?? How could that be??

For me it was his lack of wounds from supposedly getting hit by an suv and shattering the taillight. Seeing the autopsy pics and ME testimony from trial 1 convinced me. I actually thought by some of her behavior that she did perhaps accidentally hit him but I never could agree that his wounds showed that. So while I still question many things, in my mind there is no way the CW proved their case BARD.

She created serious confusion with the jury with the sheets as reported by multiple jurors after the trial. They were also under the impression they had to decide all counts together; they thought they could not find her not guilty on one or two counts.

Please understand that the SJC is not reviewing whether the judge's decisions or communications are "adequate" or "good" or "valid". They're reviewing her decision to determine if she did something contrary to established caselaw. As this has likely never happened before in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, they had no choice but to let everything stand.

So the fact that the SJC didn't overturn her finding here is pretty meaningless. She DID confuse the jury last time and needs to do better this time. Much better.

I understand that however, IMO, the jury was confused and I think the Judge should make things easier to understand for the jury!

What's odd to me is the standards applied to these witnesses re allegations of lying, compared to the standards applied to the defendant who we now know 100% lied about driving 24mph in reverse at 34F for the last 3 years.

For me personally if you want to claim everyone else is corrupt and dishonest, you better come to court without deceit.

I guess that is where I land on all this.

Does any of the lying by the partygoers at 34F make ANY sense to you? What do you imagine compelled the claims of buttdials? Jen McCabe's for example? What could she possibly gain by lying? Why would she make such a ludicrous claim?

I would love to hear your take because the evasiveness and lies and deception on pretty much everyone's part makes zero sense to me.

yes but I also think it was due to the fact that AJ just seems to irritate the judge and she is obvious about it. She seems more mellow with Yanetti.
