VERDICT WATCH MA - Professor Karen Read, 43, charged with murdering police officer boyfriend John O'Keefe by hitting him with car, Canton, 14 Apr 2023 #35 Retrial

As I stated earlier - Do you know how long JO laid on the lawn before he died? How long did it take him to die? If the exact time of death came out in trial, I missed that.
I believe he was dead when they put him on the lawn. They did not pronounce him dead I don’t believe until they worked on him at the hospital with the machines and such.

The microscopic shards of taillight:

How realistic is it on a scale of zero to PROCTOR that one could rub a red taillight piece with a piece of sandpaper and grate it on to JO'K's hoodie in a similar fashion to how one would grate parmesan cheese onto a bowl of pasta. Then put on a pair of latex gloves, give it a little rub and then boom! you've got your Michelin-star quality "damning" evidence?

I think small pieces (they actually were NOT microscopic) would be easy to "make" while breaking pieces.

I actually have a vehicle with a broken taillight, maybe I will see what my hubby did with the pieces and will smash a piece with a hammer and see haha (we noticed it a few weeks ago... it's the back passenger tail light... ironic lol and no idea how it happened while parked)

Yeah, people just say ARCCA ate lunch with KR’s dad. OH THE HORROR!! They’re all in the courthouse, was he supposed to go and have a panini with Honk Brennan? JMO
I know, if there’s a picture of AJ and Karen within 12 feet of each other there are comments (not here) like oh no, AJ’s poor wife! It’s so dumb. I guess I should let my office workers know we are all in a committed relationship.

HMMMMMMM. imo

If Proctor had a hammer, he'd hammer in the morning. He'd hammer in the evening, all over this land...

Make it official with all your concubine work wives.

Also, no one said he was "run over." He was clipped or hit. I believe he was leaning over or perhaps slipped and could have been off kilter just as she clipped him. I don't believe she intended to hit and kill him, but do believe she made contact with him and left.
At 12:45 Jen stated clearly she could see KR's vehicle. And stated there was nobody on the ground.
(Jen was connected to JO's wifi at 12:36)

Massive point made by Jackson regarding this today. The video proves the diffusers were working just fine as she drove away from One Meadows. And yet, after Michael Proctor gets his sweaty palms on the Lexus, they are smashed to hell.
That part didn't make a lot of sense to me and was a bit contradictory to me unless I'm not understanding the implication.
I get it that AJ was trying to get across that the diffusers were broken by Proctor. But the thing is, if the diffusers were working before Proctor took possession of the SUV, that means that they wouldn't have broken anyway if a a collision had taken place. The testing to prove no broken diffusers therefore becomes irrelevant wouldn't it?

I’m sorry to tell you this Missy, but have you considered that you probably murdered someone? You should probably turn yourself in before the cerebral crew from Canton tracks you down using a glass planted by former Troopah Proctah.
It was highly ironic that I was just telling my mom about this case... then hubby noticed it haha It hadn't even moved in a long time, no idea how it happened (probably some dang kids or something lol)

That is about the time I got her hooked on LYK LOL she has been watching him every day since! She would try to watch some of the trial but got frustrated when every time she turned it on, they were on break LOL

I think it was just one more way of showing that the damage sustained to the tail light ( 47 pieces and diffusers busted out) couldn't have happened at no. 34 at 12.30am in the course of Lexus allegedly colliding with JO, because if it had the tail light would have been unlit at 5.07am in the meadows video and it clearly was not. Jmo

I can't see how a NG does not happen, no collision. Not even any debris in JOK's head wound at all, from 'the ground'. Tampering with the tail light..it goes on.. IMO
I don't think it looks good at all that she did not testify in her own defense if she is not guilty. I realize the jury will be instructed otherwise, but in truth, how can they not care?

I'm not a Dr., but it's my belief his head was struck.
Where is your evidence?

His head wasn't struck by the car.

Prosecution's own Dr. Aizik Wolf, director of the Miami Neuroscience Center, testified JO had a classic blunt trauma injury. He stated JO struck his head on the ground.

“My opinion is that’s what caused this whole injury,” Wolf said. “The only way he could get this kind of an injury was to fall backward, hit the back of his head.”

I can't remember the last time I watched a trial where the defendant testified and was found not guilty.
