Since BH didn't testify in this trial, did anyone testify to BH's Jeep being parked by the mailbox?
JM did.

Jennifer McCabe describes arriving at 34 Fairview Road

By Marc Fortier

When she arrived at 34 Fairview Road that night, Jennifer McCabe said others had already arrived there, including Brian Albert and Brian Higgins, among others.

She said she went inside the front door, and went to the kitchen. Brian Albert and Higgins were in a side TV room and she wasn't paying that much attention to what they were doing.

Defense attorney Alan Jackson then asked McCabe if she noticed any vehicles outside when she arrived. She described it as a Jeep, which she said was parked on the street in front of the mailbox.

She said she later asked whose Jeep it was, and was told it belonged to Higgins.

At some point that night, she was told there was a vehicle outside, which wound up being Read's SUV. She said the SUV appeared to be in the same general area of the Jeep.

With the broken taillight situation...I highly doubt that it was broken by KR hitting JOK (given the evidence of the damage to the victim's body), but has there been proof offered of an alternative way it was broken? Like is there another vehicle with damage that would match her hitting it?

Karen tapped John’s vehicle as she was backing out of his garage at 1 meadows.

Interestingly, Jennifer McCabe made mention that ‘someone’ had called a repair person to John’s house to repair his vehicle. Why that was, or who that was, we don’t know.

That was never investigated. The other half of the defense's case centres on the non-investigation.

Coming up on 1pm EST.
5 and a half hours so far.
They should be asking for lunch soon, unless they're on a roll and don't want to stop.
IMO.

But do we know KR did that, or is that just a claim that's been made?

Thanks, I couldn't recall if anyone had in this trial.

I thought the birthday party younger people were in the TV family room and adults at the island, what were BA and BH doing in there with the youth?

Thank you. I hadn't seen anything but I didn't watch the first trial so wasn't sure if it'd come up then.

There is video..

And the assumption is that is when the taillight got damaged? Was JOK's car ever checked for corresponding damage, or like said previously, it was never investigated?

I think it was the other way around. Kids at kitchen table and BH BA went?? into family room to "look" at photos...

I'd be dragging things out to get free lunch. 😂 😂 😂 Obviously the CW isn't afraid to spend money on this trial so they probably can get surf and turf. JMO

I have CourtTV on without sound watching that deliberations clock.
Anyone else doing this?
Do you know if there is a way to receive notice once the verdict is in if you aren't able to watch anything? I am at work but want to hear the verdict if I can. Thank you.

A mess. Michael Easter should have been permitted to testify as an expert to objective standards of competent investigative procedure. The judge agreed he was an expert and qualified, many in the legal community thought she would allow it as a no-brainer, given this was the defense's trial strategy and there was good cause. But she denied by discretion. IIRC her denial reasoned that knowledge and recognition of competent police procedure was in the "ken" of the jury/your average person. The legal community were shocked by this decision. I stopped following after that decision came down for a couple of months in disgust. Jmo

AJ arguing - my favorite line and his utter disgust - "Do it!"
