Thursday is Juneteenth, a federal holiday. I think they will be brought back on Friday if they don’t have a verdict by Wednesday evening. No way they can go four days (including sat/sunday) without deliberating after deliberating for three days… it’s a mess.

I’m in Florida, and I’m so confused by the 4pm cutoff. We will make you very comfortable, we have A/C here (not too noisy), and ham sandwiches, and you will be deliberating until midnight if need be. But each state does things differently
I read something about how there are really strict rules about court staff working (not sure if it's a union thing or something) hence the hard 4pm cutoff.

Ah, that would make sense!

I'm sure some of these jurors would like to get back to work Monday.

I live in FL and just love to watch trials here for that very reason! Sarah Boone and Ashley Benefield most recently. Adelson soon!

Unbelievable. It I was on the jury and got that response I would say eff it. Better to just find NG in the face of so much confusion
Same. I’d be like all these weeks i gave you my time to seek out justice and you have been and are still unwilling to help me do that, so just MORE BARD. You won’t explain. I have doubts about how to address the charges. So I’ll treat it BARD. NOT GUILTY!

I can’t wait to hear from some of these jurors when this is all over.

I feel very badly for JOK’s family. They will never know the truth of what happened that night. Travesty on both sides, IMO.
If they really wanted to know the truth -instead of just wanting to go after Karen in civil court for financial benefit - they would lobby the Canton police/MSP/DA to reopen the case

Court TV reporting that the area in front of the courthouse where the defense team pulls up is getting crowded - possibly waiting for them to arrive in the SUV's.
IMO.

agreed
I'd make my own boxes on the form to check and then star them and provide a footnote explanation
When does the crazy end with this judge and prosecution
JMO
Yes! I’d have my explanations written out all over it. 😂

At this point I think the SBI should be investigating the police officers who were at that house.

Well, I'm not sure how else they could ask some questions then. I think it's asking for clarification, and it isn't hypothetical really. If they want to find her guilty on one of those included there, they are asking if it makes her guilty of all of them. I guess they could have said is count 2 all or nothing. If it's confusing, that is the judge's fault, and she should be able to clear it up weather it's a hypothetical question or not. That is a big charge included there with the OUI one and if they don't think she's guilty of count 2, but do think she was guilty of OUI, then I can see needing clarification because I'd vote NG on all before, I'd vote guilt on OUI if it meant she was guilty of count 2. Why is the form so confusing would be my question.

What does Judge Bev have to gain from a guilty verdict or hung jury? (Genuinely asking)
She gets to keep doing what she has done to KR.

I suspect JOK's family would respond to this comment in quite a different way than you imagine.
And that would be okay. I feel very bad for their family.
