Before the trial that's what I thought too. That the family disliked Karen and wanted John to come to his senses and move on.

Yet that's not what JO's brother and sister-in-law said during their testimony. They said that the couple had a good relationship and fought no more than average. Karen and Erin (the SIL) actually seemed pretty close.

This is really the first we're hearing otherwise. Although it does seem more like gossip as it's coming from Jen McCabe and Kerry Roberts.

No idea who Amy is.

Why do we need to know about Kerri’s nasty comment about KR except to prejudice the jury. Why did the judge allow that? JMc is a very nasty woman IMO. Nasty towards others but getting in comments like her chronic illness and how she’s been harassed. I do believe she exaggerated the details of what happened to her.

Kerry Roberts is now on the stand in the #KarenReadTrial. She was the other woman with Karen & Jen McCabe the morning they found John O'Keefe's body. She was not out with the crew the night before.

In all the trials I've watched, I remember witnesses being told they need to speak up. I've never heard an attorney being told repeatedly that they need to be louder.

So the FBI investigation things aren't allowed to be brought up by defense, but we can bring up KR supporters harassing her and giving her headaches (which has literally ZERO to do with KR's innocence or guilt)

Lally has asked Jen if she made that Google search just after 2 AM and Jen has said she did not.I should also mention, that I felt her responses were softer towards the end of her testimony. I also noticed that she is not looking at the jurors nearly as much today as before.

In a later call Kerry Roberts says that Read told her JO may have been hit by a plow

According to Roberts, when Karen Read called her at 5 AM, Karen said "John's dead. Kerry! Kerry! Kerry!"

Roberts is sharing what Karen said in her second call to her, which includes Karen saying that John was hit by a plow. During this part of testimony, every juror was writing in their notebooks.
