THIS TRUE?

Karen admits in a Nightline interview to being on the road for about 20 minutes looking for John out in the blizzard around town before waking his niece up around 4:30ish am. This means Karen was out looking for John around the same timeframe the snowplow driver saw a vehicle out front of the Albert home.
Exactly why she knew right where his body was! That’s kind of mind blowing and may be a reason they upped the charges. Can’t believe I didn’t listen to the full interview and catch that.

I honestly didn't expect this trial to produce so many LOL moments. I do like to make and appreciate humorous comments in trials to lighten the mood in what is an otherwise very serious matter, so long as they're not at the expense of the victim or their family (which none of the humour I have seen in any of these threads has crossed)

edit: spelling
Old saying..”laughing jury doesn’t convict “

GSD are notorious shedders -,it would be virtually IMPOSSIBLE to tangle with a GSD, be clawed like that, or even bitten and not get GSD hairs on him - IMPOSSIBLE
Thinking about dog injuries, I would think if a dog was jumping and biting or clawing the injuries would be in many different directions as the arms moving and fighting off the attack. John’s seem to be for the most part straight across.

Yes this is true. Another point I wonder about and not sure whether it has been addressed?

With some camera lens there can be distortion. Some lenses might be hyperbolic others parabolic. There almost IMO seems to be that occurring in the garage video (reverse imagery) of the vehicle brought in and examined. Items closer to the video lens appear to be slightly larger? Distant items slightly smaller IMO. This might also affect the ability to discern the images accurately.

And as noted by the defense in testimony IIRC, there also appeared to be some ghosting of individuals moving through portions of the video sequence. MOO
I also love how the car that went 40 miles in a blizzard on a tow truck rolls already dusted clean into a warm garage full of snow on the ground.
Total magic!

Here's the thing though.
The house was never searched for evidence of his presence.
The occupants denied it but that is not evidence, is it?
Also Ryan Nagel and Heather Macon both testify that they saw KR alone in her vehicle on her phone the car light on indicating that JOK did indeed get out of the car and at some point. Neither Ryan and Heather saw him outside the car, in the front yard of the house nor did they hear any arguing coming from the vehicle’s vicinity. This further corroborates KR’s testimony that she was waiting for him outside and raises the question where was JOK if not in the house, in the vehicle or somewhere else on the property that was not readily visible to them? Considering the snow storm and Heather’s testimony that JOK was in the car when KR parked the first time we know logically he had to be somewhere nearby.

JMcC also denies hearing or seeing the couple arguing from their car or seeing KR reverse her vehicle, make a 3 point turn or hit JOK with her vehicle.

Plus even if he was in a hit and run did occur, though I am not convinced one did yet, or we haven’t heard evidence that he was in the house yet, the lacerations on his arm and the vomit and throw up that were found on his shirt, jeans and underwear seem to indicate that JOK was subject to an another inciting event not explained by being struck by a vehicle. For example, the ME said JOK was incapacitated by the injuries to his head. We know he was found face up laying on his back but for his bodily fluids to drip down his sweatshirt, shirt, pants and undergarments he would have had to been in a vertical or at least in a sitting or crouched position. Otherwise without the help of gravity he would have more likely asphyxiated or been found with vomit and blood mainly around his face and head area. This would mean before suffering the detrimental injuries he was likely somewhere conscious but in need of help with his body in an upward position. Something awful happened to him that does not fit the prosecution’s version of events that he supposedly fell victim to KR’a rage and drunk driving before losing consciousness by 12:45.

Agree totally. It does seem over the top tho what the defense is saying.
Not to me and I have no axe in this fire at all.
Their cross examinations have provided bombshells.
I started watching it accidentally on Tube and I became fascinated..
I watched how the prosecution witnesses behaved and my internal alarm bells all rang very loudly.
Remember these are people well versed on the law, had access to the best minds yet performed so poorly that anybody would be shaking their heads.

And all this before the defense has even put its case forward..

Toto.. theres a prob...

I'm a former emergency worker, nurse and paramedic and if there were blue lights flashing on my lawn and my phone ringing at the same time, instinct would kick in.. I wouldn't sleep through both though I could well sleep through a call.. alone.
My dog wouldn't sleep through it either... but they're all tucked up nicely and miss the whole thing and dont even go and look at the place from where his body was moved when they finally awaken..

A cop doesn't go check his own garden after he is informed that a dead body with clear injuries congruent with a fight decides not to bother go look-see?

A poster suggested earlier that if KR was guilty she should have stayed in her bed until someone came to tell her the bad news.

That is exactly what this family did..

Do you not see it?

That would’ve had to have happened repeatedly. And what? he just stood there? Didn’t fight back and miraculously there was no German Shepherd hair on him?

You ever own a German Shepherd?
Well, Hartnett swabbed 17 places with one swab, scraped both shirts and combined it, proctor trooper had 6 days to make sure no hair, Colin’s or Chloe’s is present.

There was that.

But again, you have no link to her saying that? Just something you think?
KR says it during the dateline interview.
She also admits to driving around for 20 minutes searching for him on her own.
In her response regarding the statement she claims that she made to people of 'did I hit him' she says "What I thought could have happened, was that did I incapacitate him, unwittingly, somehow, and then in his drunkenness, passed out"

Proctor should teach a hair removal class.
This case aside 6 days is not enough time for me to get dog hair completely off of a hat.

So… Chloe is missing her lower jaw?
Where are the marks on the opposing side of the arm?
Her incisors removed?
Where’s the bruising?
Why ZERO evidence supporting a dog bite?
My sister in Christ, the defense have not presented their case yet.

Do police search all nearby houses when bodies are found?
I don’t think anyone’s questioning why every house in the neighborhood wasn’t searched. We are questioning why the single property JO was found on wasn’t searched.

If a dead cop showed up on my lawn I’m pretty sure I’d be getting a few knocks on my door.

I don't know what the reason was but I would think lally would know that the defense would see that the video was mirrored. The alarm went out almost immediately on internet. So why did he play that video knowing it would be exposed as reversed. I can't think of one good reason playing that video would help to state's case. In fact, it just conjures up more questions to include missing time. Any ideas? JMOO
Inexplicable other than concluding Lally is shady and an idiot. JMO

What are the legal repercussions for him if any? Does defense make motion for sanctions against prosecution? Is this judge likely to issue any sanctions and/or reprimand prosecution in any way for creating this deception.JMO

But honestly, none of the evidence shows he was in the house either. You can point out all the inconsistencies but …..Karen’s own words everyone seems to sweep under the rug. We will see what the CW has to say in the weeks ahead. No way giving the investigation a pass or MP they did a horrible job. MP is still on the job even under investigation, that’s my understanding. Higgins is on desk duty, you would think MP would be the same.
None of the evidence shows be was in the house because they didn't investigate the house. Can't find evidence of this if it isn't looked for at the beginning.

Throw in a basement remodel and actually selling the house soon after... something stinks.

At the very least that house should have been searched.

so you are 100pc sure of that?

If you dropped your man off at a house to party he was invited to….and he didn’t return home.

Would you be calling YOUR FRIENDS before dawn? Or would you simply assume maybe he drank too much and decided to stay there?
Why wouldnt you knock at their door first and ask?

Because she was drunk and knew she had hit him

You do realize that not every human reacts to a situation in the way you think they should?

I honestly think a lot of that will be disputed. The software company did an update and my understanding was some of that stuff wasn’t found on the first search, before the update.

Ok? Software updates have nothing to do with her deleting calls and having more butt dials in an hour than I have had in 40 years. JMO

Ah, Chloe has Freddy Krueger toenails?

Depending on what the dog’s grooming was like, they could have been long. Do you know how long they were? There seems to be some intimate knowledge of the subject

A dog can scrape and break skin with it's teeth too without locking on..happens if a dog is jumping up and somebody tries to knock him down with a forearm, teeth connect but not the whole jaw. |That's what it looked like to me..

But I had a dog one time and my dog never bit me, THEREFORE, Chloe could NEVER have bit someone. JMO
