I agree, but Lally is kind of screwed either way. They have to bring these up to try and get in front of them and explain them. I don't necessarily think that's going to work with the jury make up. JMO

I’m curious about why his friend asked if Officer JOK was beaten to death after being told the homeowner was a cop?

Usually I would think one of the safest places for one officer is in the home of another officer because of the sense of camaraderie or brotherhood and such. However, that doesn’t seem to be the expectation in this case.

However, to be fair, perhaps my understanding/assumptions could be wrong too.

I agree. I think they will putt around until court ends, maybe end on something big to send the jury home with that to think about all night, and then come out firing in the morning. JMO
