Can someone remind when KR and backed into John's car?

I have a few hypothetical scenarios for what happened. Higgins or someone else hitting JO, and things escalating out of control are my most likely. And JO left the house and passed out in the snow and died because nobody in the house cared enough to check. Number 2 is KR hit JO accidentally but there was something else happening in the house that was being covered for and everyone is doubling down because they're screwed if they come clean now.

Jumping on your post. My thought.
KR hot JO with the car, caused bumps and bruises. JO went into the house told the guys ‘just about mowed me down etc.,’.
A fight happened for another reason .
They came up with this idea….
And the plan went from there.

Didn’t we have this observation about someone else earlier in the trial?

Could have sworn there was someone. Can’t remember who
I noticed YB doing something with his tongue during the intense questioning.

Wanted to take a pulse of our group…
After today, are you more or less convinced KR is guilty?
Has anyone (who came into this thinking KR is guilty) changed their minds?

Mostly referring to belief shift from guilty to innocent, rather than “she will be found NG bc of lack of evidence or too much reasonable doubt, but I think she hit him”.

TIA!

That is a very good theory. I hadn't considered it.

That's so weird you said that. While I was watching it I wondered whether he had even been wearing sneakers that night??
Where are his socks!? It’s driving me nuts!

Hell yeah you can make one! Posters here will be super appreciative.
Would be appreciated! Though, it would need to have multiple columns… since none of the liars’ testimonies match with times.
Though keep in mind, they all remember where someone was charging their phone or who walked into the library to look at photos at exact time.

I do this little exercise about once per week… if there is a get together over the weekend, I wait until Tuesday to see how many details I remember.
And this is fully sober as I’ve been a DD for most friends.
I couldn’t tell you who walked in at what time and what they drank.
Sometimes I pay attention, but then can’t pinpoint times.
My memory is quite good generally.

I do not know what happened.... If the CW could explain things like why the sally port tape is reversed, it would make them more credible, but they cannot. Also, just IMO, I have seen witness testimony before that is tainted and nasty and it really messes up a case- IMO.

my impression- once KR reportedly said something about hitting JOK, it was easy for LE to accept that- but police know that people make odd statements when they are upset, in shock or impaired and they know some people even make false statements and false confessions for a variety of reasons- so why was it so easy to accept her reported statement without looking further? All the nasty statements about KR's medical condition are even more objectionable because I would think that a lot of LE know other LE and victims that have been shot or stabbed and have wounds- so why no understanding of something medical that causes a situation like that? FWIW, I also have no idea how she could drink to excess with IBS and MS and... is she on meds too? She weighs nothing.

I do not know if KR hit JOK but what caused the arm scratches? What caused a shoe to come off? And the back of his head is wounded but he was lying face up... I am sure there could be a way to hit a body so that it would twist but I do not get the connection between the injuries and the supposed cause AND do we know that some one else did not hit him? How does no one see him? Not even the plow driver....pretty sure I said before that trying to figure out what a bunch of drunk people were doing is nigh impossible, but they still have to obey the 'laws of physics. IMO.

If the shoes really DO match, I think they should probably address it because the jury is going to notice that they don't look like they do.

IMO
I think the two Nike shoes currently in evidence (each shoe with white sole) match and therefore the jurors are probably OK.

However, they haven't seen what we've seen, and since Proctor failed to implement an evidence log, I think it's fair to question if the Nike shoes in evidence ever belonged to OJO-- or where they came from.

Maybe the shoe photographed in the snow bank is more CW trick photography where colors change as you blink. Similar to the sally-port where people fade in and out of the background right before your eyes! JMO

Can someone remind me/clue me in on what Lucky the plow driver said/will say on the stand?

OK, rewatching opening statements (mostly because it's bedtime and I have a crush on Yanetti....I kid I kid....), and he said Karen, in a panic, backed out of her garage around 5AM, after she realized he never got home.

But he didn't say where she went, if anywhere, after that. And wasn't her car forward facing when KR and JM arrived at her home? Did she pull out of her driveway and then pull back in?

I'll need to watch some more testimony tomorrow to understand what happened next unless someone else can clarify?

why would his shoes not have been on his feet?
I could have missed a big thing .
(was he wearing socks?)

This is getting too creepy now..
Poor guy deserved better, so much better.

One shoe was on his foot. The other was found later in the snow. Yes, he was wearing socks.

Shoes commonly fly off feet when they are hit by a car, which is the State's point.

Why would laced sneakers fly off?
Most of his injuries were to his head..
His brother described his eyes as resembling two ping pong balls when he went to see him in the hospital.

  • 5:07 a.m. O’Keefe’s driveway camera shows Read’s car backing out of the driveway. Read meets Jennifer McCabe and Roberts at McCabe’s house. Roberts drives Read and Jennifer McCabe to the Albert residence.

A photo was shown today in court of JO's lower legs/feet when he was lying on the bed in the ER. His socks were intact. They are black.

I have no clue, but it's a thing. Going only 25mph though? Also no clue. They are banking on it though.
