That story is from 2001. I assume they ruled out Unterhuber's DNA long ago.

Also it's not in Doe Network. Maybe this was resolved at some point in the past 14 years.

I'll do a little research. Unterhuber was ruled out in 2002. Also, this should be listed under MA for Massachusetts, not MS.

This case is discussed in that book about WS, Doe, etc., The Skeleton Crew. I can't view all the pages in Google Books but it looks like the bones are still unidentified.

https://books.google.com/books?id=5...page&q=quarry st quincy ma bones 1991&f=false

According to that book, the bones were originally believed to belong to a 12-15-yr-old boy but were later examined at the Smithsonian and thought belong to a man closer to 30 who died from blunt force trauma. Still looking for other sources that corroborate that.

That would make sense FiveFelines. I saw no entry for that date in Mississippi.

It's not in Doe or Namus under MA either. And Mass apparently has been terrible about entering missing people in databases, so... really hard to try to solve this one.

Unfortunately, as far as I can tell by doing a quick search, he's never been added to NamUs
