MOD NOTE:
While Websleuths encourages the free flow of discussion of crimes and disappearances, this forum has a set of guidelines that are higher than most other sites on the internet. Websleuths is the gold standard of crime discussion forums, and a big part of that is our dedication to victims, families and facts. Here is what that means:
- Family and friends are also considered VICTIMS and may not be spoken of as if they are involved in any crime.
- Family and friends’ history may not be posted and discussed, as that is considered “sleuthing” them which is not in compliance with WS TOS. This includes their social media, obituaries, court/legal documents, even if those are publicly available online. Bringing any of that to the threads is a violation of TOS.
- While you may state your opinion, you must qualify that with IMHO or the like, and it should be based in facts that have already been established in MSM that can be cited. It is not acceptable to state your opinion if it is based on what cannot be posted here.
Hope that helps. Websleuths is intentionally more stringent with regard to the Terms of Service. THANK YOU for your ongoing efforts to post respectfully and responsibly according to the TOS we all agreed to when we joined.
