Maybe they did have both.
With the house being in a rural area, I am not sure if city gas runs down that road, or not.
Being that the house isn't really all that old, to me, if it was built that way it would be a pain to have to rely on bottled gas, and oil both.
Just a thought.
This whole "vendetta" thing doesn't strike me as a likely scenario. I can think of numerous cases where a father has massacred his family, but can't find one where a family with small children is murdered by a third party, and the husband or wife is untouched. Bradford Bishop murdered his family in their sleep, loaded their bodies into his vehicle, and burned them in the woods. The only difference is that he went on the run afterwards. John List also committed a similar crime. This type of thing is unfortunately, quite common. Revenge killings of family members to punish the mother or father just doesn't happen in the U.S. with any frequency. Can anyone find a similar case to this that was not a "home grown" event?
Are you going to provide a specific example? They have no presence in this area.Allow me to introduce you to MS-13.

I'm aware of the horrors of MS-13. There's a good Frontline episode on it's effect on the NY area. I can't find a single case where they have murdered a family to punish someone who has crossed them. This family lived a middle class existence in a small rural town. Both were employed, and neither had criminal records. An ultra-violent gang decides to punish him, with the brutal murder of his wife and kids. An absolutely unprecedented attack in a town that has been largely unaffected by gang violence. I live here. I don't buy it.I could provide a ton of specific examples of MS13 brutal murders on Long Island. I live in the same county as Brentwood, which is where MS13 is a huge problem. Just because I’m 45 min away, I wouldn’t turn my nose up at the possibility of their violence spilling over. Considering it’s already spilt over into other suburbs in our county. MS13 has presence in MA, and from what I read, maybe like an hour and a half away from the murders? I wouldn’t consider that no presence in the area. JMO

Im not looking to argue so Ill just unsubscribe. But like I said - its just a thought, and one that I cant discount at this time. I guess we will have to wait to see who decided to carry out such brutal murders and why. Best to you and your community.
Sorry for coming across as being rude, as it wasn't my intent. I just can't state how strongly enough I believe this to be not related to gang activity.I’m not looking to argue so I’ll just unsubscribe. No need to unsubscribe. The two of you disagree. Thats all.

Take this with a grain of salt, but a couple different people say that they saw the West Brookfield police walking out of a field near the house with a yellow gas can. Hopefully this is the elusive can. And hopefully it has some evidentiary value.
Thats odd. Wouldn't the CSI team have on gloves and bag it before removing the item from a field?
Not it sounds plausible since several people mentioned it on that page. But usually when finding evidence and shell casings on The First 48; Usually they just put markers down next to everything and then have the CSI guys take photos, bag it and tag it.
So I hope the cops aren't that slow to just pick up the can in a field and bring it to the road and throw it in the passenger seat of the cop car. Lol.
Lets hope.
Correct me if I am wrong, but, I believe the husband was in California at the time of the murders. That leaves him out. This whole "vendetta" thing doesn't strike me as a likely scenario. Yeah, I too am skeptical. No MSM sources are reporting it. These cops just casually carrying an incredibly valuable piece of evidence out of the woods. The fact that it was supposedly found in the area around the house, which should have been searched already. We'll see.
I'm only going to address the first part as the rest off your post is pure speculation. The husband was in California when the bodies were found, we don't know if he was there when the murders were committed. As far as we know, he has not been excluded.Correct me if I am wrong, but, I believe the husband was in California at the time of the murders. That leaves him out.
The only way the Father could be involved is if he hired someone, which using your scenario of them being both employed, in a small town with no criminal history, doesn't add up..
MS 13 originated in California, and their signature is to murder family members. They are huge in LA, and San Fran. both.
What are your thoughts as to what happened?
There has to be a motive.
Robbery? If this is true, I would think that LE would be asking people to be looking for more than just a yellow fuel can.
I doubt it was the neighborhood kids looking for a prank.
Do you think perhaps with MS 13 being so heavily involved with human smuggling, that maybe a family member could have been smuggled, and they didn't keep paying?
Could it be that their business was being extorted,(another MS 13 trait) and they weren't paying the piper?
Could it be that the real reason they moved from California was because they were running from something/someone?
