WEST BARNSTABLE — A search connected to a missing Nantucket woman along the Service Road from West Barnstable to Sandwich was halted around 3 p.m. today.

State and Barnstable police and members of the Barnstable County Sheriff's Department searched the woods area near the power lines off the Service Road for at least six hours.

The large-scale search — which included about 30 people and a state police helicopter — is connected to the investigation into the disappearance of Hall, 23, who has been missing for almost two weeks.

Expectant mom Trudie Hall was due to meet a divorce attorney on Nantucket the day after she was reported missing on Cape Cod.

The 23-year-old pregnant woman, who disappeared after coming to the Cape on July 27, had inquired about divorce proceedings earlier in the month at the Nantucket Probate and Family Court office, according to an official source.

Hall was married to Doucet McDowe on April 29, 2009, according to court documents filed in Barnstable Probate and Family Court. An online public records search reveals McDowe to be 31 years old.

There is nothing on DM except an accident in Jamaica in 2002. That article list his age as 20 at the time. Other than that, absolutely nothing. Previous reports showed his age to be 42, iirc.

"Hall's mother, Vivienne Walker, is pleading for Trudie's safe return.

"She is not doing this of her own will. Whoever is holding my daughter, please let her come home, and whatever you want us to do, money or anything, just call us, just let her go," said Walker."

I thought that was Wilson who was 42...idk...But fhc is reporting (by report) DM is 31 however if he was in an accident 8 years ago at 20...well we can all do the math...Is reporting just getting sloppier and sloppier or has it always been this suspect?...Not that his age really matters, I suppose. But I agree, panthera, that we definitely have (at least) two with motive...

He's 41, she's 23, he's Nepalese and works as a landscaper and a worker in a restaurant, and he calls her a good friend. I do not see him as a threat to her. He knew she cheated and did not seem to care.

Trudie's mother states in this article that a woman was threatening Trudie. Since I cannot name names or accuse anyone, I will make this broad:

so, it doesn't sound like mom knew much about her daughter's "secretive" life so how did she know about the threat? there are some big gaps here as far as i can tell.

did mom know she was pregnant? she didn't think she was married so did she know who the father was? now it's said trudie might have married twice but the mother doesn't think so (didn't think she was even married once)...so if trudie is keeping so much secret i have to go back to how mom knew about the threat...who else did? did mom know the father of the baby was married to someone else?

so, i'm thinking 4 poi's now...husband, father of the baby, wife of father of the baby, mother of trudie...anyone else?...maybe 1st husband...wow- that word bizarre never strays far from this case!! poor trudie...it sounds like her short life was very complicated and sad...poor baby...raying:

Ram Rimal, a Nepalese landscaper who lives on Nantucket, is married to Trudie Hall, the 23-year-old pregnant woman who went missing in late July, and may have been the last person to see her alive.

Rimal, 41, took a plane to Hyannis on July 27 where Hall picked him at the Barnstable Municipal Airport, according to his attorney, Michael Wilson. The couple had dinner, went to see a movie, and fell asleep together at the Bayside Resort in West Yarmouth. When Rimal awoke the next day, Hall was gone, Wilson said.

I don't think you can because she's not a poi or suspect as of this point in time...but that got me curious and i did a FB search on Quoizel Wilson who i found- nothing much of interest on his page but he is friends w/ a Trudy Wilson- I don't know if she's the same person...could he be the 2nd husband referred to? ergo her using the name Wilson...or it might be different...
