A Massachusetts man has been sentenced to four years behind bars after admitting to mutilating and killing five pet rabbits during a break-in at a construction company.

The rabbits belonged to the owners 6 year old daughter.

I'm glad this judge took a stand and sentanced him to prison

We have pet Rabbits and this just makes me sick. I am also glad the Judge threw the book at him- what a psychopath! My kids are 11, 9 and 6- they would be devastated beyond belief and would have a hard time getting over this, I am so sad for the little 6 year old and her family (not to mention the poor, defenseless Rabbits)!:furious:

Who does that? Why would a person do that even high and drunk?

They should also have ordered him to get psychological counseling. Mutilating rabbits?
