Madam Z?

Grade 4-6-- If one set of twins is double trouble, then two sets of twins in one family is double trouble squared, especially when the twins in question have the power to communicate with oneother telepathically. The Starbuck family includes 12-year-old fraternal twins July Burton and Liberty Bell; their younger mirror image siblings, Charlotte and Amalie; the children's mother, herself a twin; her obnoxious sister, Honey; and, lastly, father Putnam Starbuck, who has just become an undersecretary at the U. S. Embassy in London. This change of jobs and venue takes the twins and their teacher Zanny the Nanny (oh, these names!) to the native turf of their hero, Sherlock Holmes, and a rendezvous with a mysterious spirit voice that has been invading the twins' telepathic turf. If all of this sounds complicated, it is; in fact, so busy is the author with introducing her cornucopia of characters and their eccentricities that it takes her 154 pages to orchestrate the pivotal encounter that will engage the plot. Granted this is the first of a proposed series and, accordingly, a good deal of background information needs to be imparted. But the fundamental problem remains that there are simply too many characters, both human and . . . otherwise (this is a ghost story of sorts, after all). One hopes that future stories will focus more on plot and less on the too literary complexities of characterization. Otherwise the terms ``Starbuck Family'' and ``adventure'' will join the ranks of such treasured oxymorons as ``jumbo shrimp.'' --Michael Cart, Beverly Hills Public Library

Great, I was about to fire off an e-mail to the author to find out more! OK but this book is 9-12 year old catagory why read this to Caylee? And why read it herself except is came out in 1992 when Casey was 8 years old, she could have read this as a child. Now we aslo know according to a few sorces she is a voracious read, so its VERY possible. Clues in this book? doubt it. The book is a clue, its where she conjured the name, after, as I think, discovering Zanaida visiting Sawgrass apartments. She did say she left Caylee there in the first story with ZFG and refered to her also as Zanny during the 30day lapse period. June 16-july 15th amongst her friends. PErhaps she never mentioned the name Zanaida (ZFG) at all during this time and only refered to her as Zanny, and realizing when speaking to police she would need to provide a real full name offered ZFG up as the name remember she overheard it at Sawgrass. Conjecture on my part but very plausable.

Yeah but if you check out: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_b...eld-keywords=Double+Trouble+Squared&x=26&y=20

There are many other books from the same series. Could've read one of those instead. But I think she was at Sawgrass and overheard the name or something. Remember she was going around and looking for apartments for tony

I have been saying that about Sawgrass for a long time now. They need to research and pull all the visitor cards for that day. And the ones for the other apartment complex for the day she was there too. It is a good chance if she didnt run into her at Sawgrass, which I doubt she may have ran into her at the other, perhaps even chatted. And maybe talked about other places they had been. Most likely she ran into her somehow at Sawgrass.

I agree, she might not have ended up actually getting a guest card filled out at Sawgrass though. She probably overheard everything waiting to be waited on and left before she could be waiting on. Remember she wasn't really interested in finding an apartment. When they guy called her back about those one apartments all she would talk about is inviting him to Fusian. I'd say she overheard it right at Sawgrass. They should check the security cameras which they probably already have

Oh, and Zenaida didn't speak English at sawgrass. Think about it. Yes, Casey wouldn't be able to remember it but it would take a lot long to get all the information that way. Names should still be spoken in english :)

I've got a pretty good feeling that when they recovered the card with Zen's name on it, they probably asked for all cards for the day that she was there ... in fact, I would not be suprised if they didn't ask to see cards from the first date KC claimed to have left Caylee with Zen (i.e. beginning of June) through the date that they received the 911 call once they started realizing that KC was lying, which as we call know, was within less than 24 hours after the 911 calls.

ALSO, I have never seen the linked photos from Voyage before... you guys are good! We see at least TonE and that other guy hugging on KC ... wouldn't be surprised to see more of KC's friends there but I don't know what all the players look like. Wish I had the time to check them all.

and maybe she DID normally meet Z in a stairwell, of wherever her client was and hand Caylee off. And it could explain why she was looking in clubs for her. And why she was hesitant to go to police.

BUT it certainly doesn't explain why she wasn't upset or why she has decomp in the back of her car.

Hi Susie Clue, I agree that Casey may have been into escorting. Sawgrass kept an apartment ready (I believe furnished as well) for viewing (or for other purposes maybe). This was done by appointment. I believe it was sometime later when a card was produced and they vehemly denied they had ever seen Casey. Maybe there is a cover up on the part of Sawgrass. Maybe Casey was in over her head. There are a lot of maybes and twists. There are way too many things that we could speculate on. I think this maybe be deeper than just a mother killing her child wheter accidently or on purpose.

There are too many things that point us in the direction of escorting or other activity such as the B.D.C Entertainment, Fusian, Universal Studios (she could have been working for them----just not on the legal payroll), gang signs in the pictures, etc. Many things pointing in the direction of sex and drugs.

This is a sinister case to say the least. Lets just all pray they find Caylee.

Zenaida & Kio did say they hung out at the same clubs as Casey.
On the Friday before June 16th....(June 13th) Casey took Caylee to Fusion! Why?!
This may have started as a temporary solution to Casey's need for cash & some time alone with TonE...But, the chloroform did it's job too well.

Casey took TonE to "her club" Voyage
Supposedly, there is a "back room" There are supposed to be photos of Amy, TonE, & Casey...I just see mother of the year in the last photo......

Check the picture again. That is not her. There are at least two other pictures with a girl in that dress and they are not Casey.

Somewhere in the 400 page documents it says that Casey went around looking at apartments supposedly for Tony. There was a guy she talked to who called her back about an apartment and all she kept talking about was inviting him to party at Fusian. So she could've very well have been at Sawgrass when Zanny was. Zanny might not have even seen her. Casey could've walked in whenever Zanny was getting the card filled out and overheard her telling the clerk her name since he is the one that writes it down.

They don't remember her because Zanny was speaking spanish, which would've taken a long time to fill out the card. Casey wasn't seriously trying to find an apartment anyway and left without every talking to a clerk

Can you tell me who these guys are?

These pics gave me a totally different impression of "sweet TonE"
He's pretty wasted, is getting alot of female attention, and he's noticing other girls.
Especially one in the royal blue dress
(No wonder Casey went out & bought that dress lol)

The photo of him at the bar with his cell phone...The girl on the right (pink/black dress) sure is giving Casey the "evil eye"

I don't think Casey was hooked on drugs enough or even had enough guts to be a hooker. She walks like some fake trying to swing her hips and doesn't even have a hooker stroll. There's no way she was a dancer either. No hooker or dancer looks as weird as she did in the pic trying to pole dance. With her lies and stealing some John or someone involved would have beat her up and injured her before now.

I agree...I think she was quite naive up until about a year ago when she started hanging out with these "new people" i.e. Lake Vaj, etc. I think she was probably a barmaid.

I think her habitual lying lost her alot of friends and with these new people she could continue her fantasy world. And I believe she was extremely lonely as a single Mom & would do ANYTHING to be accepted.
