Agreed! But where's the mini fridge, the coffeemaker, and the microwave?

:p

LMAO! Love the pics colomom! Looks like my office, just add 200 UID/Missing posters to the walls!

Ooo, and the portapotty, frig, ect, that's on the side of the room not photo'd, duh.

My computer area is a very messy, 4x5 area in my dining room where most of my desk is under a stack of papers. I'm lucky if I can find my mouse.

Fluídos biológicos de Maddie foram encontrados pelo laboratório de Birminghan nas amostras enviadas pe-la Polícia Judiciária para Inglaterra.

Biological fluids of Maddie were found by the Birmingham lab in the samples sent by the PJ to England

The newspaper CM knows that these traces – residues of blood not visible to the naked eye which were found in the Ocean Club and the rented car of the McCanns – already in the possession of the PJ should determine immediate developments of the case. Most important of all will be a new interrogation of Madeleines parents and some friends of the couple who were on holiday in the Algarve when the child disappeared.

These developments based on the results of the biological samples were also highlighted in various English newspapers who indicate there will be arrests in the next 48 hours. The most important samples, of the dozens sent to England, are the ones collected in the apartment of the McCanns at the Praia da Luz, especially samples from the floor and the cupboard in the house where the family lived afterwards and in the car which they rented after the child disappeared. These samples were collected after the specially trained dogs from England signalled biological traces of blood and the odor of a cadaver on the clothes of Kate McCann.

Wow...

If this is true, it's proof positive of parental involvement.

And can you imagine what all those celebrities, sports stars and politicians must be thinking!

Is this going to finally be true information from the press or are the tabloids getting in their licks while the chance exists, fearing that soon the case may be solved and their chance at the parents fades away like a dying echo?

I am waiting on the good guys to complete their work.

The people from Portugal I've been reading in the other forums say Correio da Manhã is not a tabloid- it's like our New York Times or Washington Post. There have been occasions where they're wrong, but it is usually very conservative in printing news and making sure it's correct first.

Who knows what the press will say next? We can only wait and see what is true, what is hype, and what is just overstated not-important facts.

However, it was the National Enquirer that first broke the story/photos of O.J. Simpson and the "ugly 🤬🤬* shoes" (Simpson's name for the Bruno Magli shoes Simpson owned.) Those same shoes were one of the stronger pieces of evidence against Simpson in the civil trial.

One thing that stands out for this story being true- after the filing of a lawsuit against the Tal & Qual, you'd think Correio da Manhã would double and triple-check their sources before going to print with something this explosive. But you're all right. I think I need to sit back and wait to see what happens tomorrow.

You're right Cali and Doc - its a waiting game now. It's been a waiting game for the past 5 weeks. I believe that PLE has been getting bits and pieces of info on the tests over the last several weeks and have been holding on to them for various reasons.

I still think the PLE is trying to smoke someone out - hence the leaks in information. It seems selected tidbits are put out in the public by "reliable police sources" that work under secrecy rules in their legal system.

Seriously, if everything is so secret - how does so much information get leaked? I think it is leaked for a reason.

So... we shall see, hopefully sooner than later, just how much of everything we have read holds truth. It will be very interesting to see which papers knew what, when.

I'm checking the news every 5 minutes. Very hard to concentrate right now. It is tomorrow in Portugal already. I think it is about 5:00 p.m. Thurs evening, I think......

No, it's only a little after 6:15 on Thursday morning.

If the article is true, what a day the Portuguese and British will be getting up for. I imagine the PJ is going to pounce on this hard- interrogations of the entire Tapas 9, body searches, maybe even more testing. I wish I was a fly on the wall.

McCanns Wait To Hear Forensic Findings
Last Edited: Thursday, 06 Sep 2007, 12:00 AM CDT Created: Wednesday, 05 Sep 2007, 10:30 PM CDT
09/06/2007 -- The parents of missing Madeleine McCann are waiting to find out whether forensic results returned to police will shed new light on what may have happened to their daughter.
Sky News crime correspondent Martin Brunt has learned that vital clues from the test results are expected to lead to a significant development.
Experts at the Forensic Science Service (FSS) in Birmingham have spent the past month analysing samples taken from the McCanns' holiday apartment in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz.

Well my timing is way off, isn't it. Darn!

The skynews guy keeps saying "significant." What does that mean?

I guess we will know soon, huh?

Doesn't make sense does it Salem? I guess it depends on what article we read. Let's hope we hear something soon.

Madeleline: DNA is found

Arrest expected 'in 48 hours'

The dna of a potential suspect in the Madeleine McCann case has been found by British scientists.

It was discovered among fragments of forensic evidence taken from Kate and Gerry McCann's holiday flat and sent to the UK for analysis. Last night sources said Portuguese police were now expected to make new arrests within 48hours.
The DNA is said to have been found in an area of the Praia da Luz flat where the individual should not have been.
Madeleine's parents were furious last night after Portuguese police failed to tell them about the test results.

You appear to have to buy the paper to read the rest, will see if I can find anything else

Madeleine police gain new information from samples

Chief Inspector Olegario Sousa, spokesman for Portugal’s PolÍcia Judiciária, which is leading the investigation, refused to confirm reports about the results.
He said that all lines of inquiry were still being pursued, but the theory that Madeleine was dead was being given “special attention”.
“The lines are the same since the beginning — they are all open,” he said.
“We said that the results are important for one of the lines, the one that considers the hypothesis of the little girl being dead. At this moment we are taking special attention on the hypothesis of death.”
