We're definately not on the same page as far as the parents are concerned. I believe them to be loving parents who are going through every parents worst nightmare. None of us are perfect and they certainly didn't deserve to have their child stolen. But yes Shazza we are on the same page as far as Madeleine is concerned and just want her safely home. Please God soon.

At this stage there has been no proof that she has been stolen, there is no proof that her parents were involved, there is no evidence at all that the public are aware of as to how Madelaine went missing, but there is proof that the parents are negligent, and there is proof they have told lies, and there is proof that both or one of them can not handle the children, so the odds are not in the parents favour. So until Madelaine is found we only have our opinion as to what has happened, and we agree we dont have the same opinion.

No we don't have the same opinion, and as neither of us will change our minds. As I said before. If the police are completely satisfied, and i'm sure they would know by now, that the parents are "Not" involved with Madeleine's abductifion then thats good enough for me.

I havent seen it written anywhere, the police quoting that the parents are not involved. I believe they are suspects. The media have suggested that they have no involvment but the police have not been quoted as saying that.

I had another thought whilst reading another thread, ever heard of "The Secret", a book on the Law of Attraction. Well somehow I think this applies to GM, everything is about him, not Madelaine or the rest of the family. If you truly believe.... you attract that belief to you. So GM is attracting attention to himself to take the attraction away from Madelaine and her whereabouts. Why would you do this.....because you are guilty of something and trying to cover it up.

My mind is running away from me, this case does that to you.

And I haven't seen or heard that the police suspect the McCanns either. They do say when they have a suspect though, and have named one in this case.

I was just trying to use the picture as a way of saying:- this is the 'message' they are sending out, the joy on that Mothers face is not what you expect a Mothers face to be if her child could be suffering an un-imaginable fate, IMHO it is a 'negative' message under the circumstances and will only attract a 'negative' response in return....(and that is just one of the reasons why the McC's are under suspicion) thats what I thought 'The Secret' was all about.....the Laws of Attraction........I hope this makes sense, I am a bit braindead myself right now:blowkiss:

Thanks april4sky for stopping me from boredom, it was great debating with you. Madelaine is what this is all about, and I do pray everyday that she is alive and well. I know I was getting frustrated as this does your head in, I get so emotional when kids are involved.

Deborah - I agree. I never thought of this either. I'm not used to thinking such diabolical thoughts and this is a definite stretch for my brain. I think it is an interesting way to put the chain of events together, but I'm not sure it is something I can wrap my head around. It just seems like so much "work" to pull such a stunt off.....

I do agree with some of the reasoning and I am quite convinced the parents know something and that the parents started this ball rolling, but a "major child stealing plot to get rich, using your own child" is just too hard for me.

Hi april4sky - do you have a link for the where the police said the McCanns were not involved and that they are completely satisfied? I have not heard this before. I am very interested in any information the police might share that would point away from the McCanns.

Okay, while I do think this idea is a little far-fetched, it does bring up an interesting point or two.

One I had never thought of: when KM discovers Maddie missing, she leaves the twins alone AGAIN to return to the restaurant to tell her friends and husband.

Do these people not own a cell phone? Could she not have scooped up the twins and taken them with her? Believing a kidnapper nearby, how could she have just left them there again?

It is bizarre.
