The newspaper “GROUND”, in its last number, advances that the PJ inquires as for the existence of a possible connection between Robert Murat and Russel O' Brien, one of the friends of the McCann couple. But the only connection element between the two men, found by the PJ, concentrates with the turn of a voyage accomplished by Murat with Exter - or life his/her sister - ten days before the disappearance of Madeleine. Village or also live the couple of doctors, Russel O' Brien and Jane Tanner.

The same newspaper advances that the personnel of Typed Bar would have seen only one person leaving the table of the group, the night of May 3, Doctor Russel O' Brien.

That sounds very feasible, lets hope this is looked into by the P LE.

I believe that stating "just a theory, of course" in your post would protect you from any legal action. I know that those "reports" mentioned on other forums have people spooked but, seriously, do you realize how much money...and effort....and time...would be required to bring any kind of lawsuit against one of us for voicing our opinions???

Plus...bring it on...my attorney would have lots of questions for anybody who felt like I had slandered or libeled them...

They would have to prove that they were innocent of any supposed "libelous" statements.

To put your mind at ease, just add a disclaimer in your signature that says: "my statements are only my opinion, nothing more".

Course, I am not a lawyer, even if that was my daddy's dream....

Good theory. Couple of follow up ideas...... if this is what happened, then everyone had to know from the beginning that KM would come running, they would all need to act surprised, participate in the search....

Of all the people searching during those initial few moments, who was "standing" around? Pretending to search, but not really because they knew they didn't need to? I think the P-LE should ask all the employees and others who participated in that first search this question. Did it appear that some were not really searching?

Its a lot of people to include in a "conspiracy." Is it possible that only a few knew.... and the others were not let in on the secret?

If RO was really a suspect, would they have let him return to the UK?

I believe the truth lies with the McCanns and their friends or some of them. I also believe there is a cover up. This to is only my opinion. I think the LE should focus more on the McCanns and their friends.

Here's another possibility?

Maybe there are other activities in their lives up to this point that they all keep secret within the group. Starts with one event or crime, they all keep it secret what he/she did to protect their friend. Then another does a crime of some sort and uses the "I didn't rat you out, you have to protect me now!" and another and so on, until the entire group has dirt on each other.

Snitch one out, the whole tower comes falling down so maybe they protect their friends to protect their past acts. Maybe now they're in over their heads and don't know how to get out of the tower without ruining their own lives in the process.

Does this say that Murat visited a village in Exeter, where his sister lives, about 10 days before Madeleine disappeared? And does it say that is also the same village lived in by O'Brien and Tanner? If so, verrrry strange.

And from a few weeks ago, probably meaningless, but still, a thing that makes you go, Hmmmmm:
