Madeleine McCann 3 year old missing in Portugal - Part 7

I have been informed that the McCann's are planning legal action against several Portugal and British newspapers as well as other parties that have been portraying themselves in a negative view. I have also been advised that I should cease and desist all public work on this case due to this recent event. As many of my readers know, I cannot afford any legal troubles, and such actions would hurt everyone that reads this site.

Therefore, as of now, this case is closed. I want to personally thank everyone who helped me on this case, and to please continue working on the hundreds of other cases I have open.

If I have any additional information I feel that's significant to this case, I will forward it to British authorities, who I still highly respect.

Holy crap. First Brian's site, now them. Unbelievable.

I have never seen a case like this. Never before have I seen the kind of money spent on shutting people up, while the child is still missing.

I know what that thing is I couldn't put my finger on. And, it doesn't bode well for Maddie's chances of being alive.

I wonder if Tricia has received any correspondence from the McCann's lawyers?

Could someone answer me this: on the Madeleine sites about her missing, why is it so hard to find her physical statistics? I clicked on the "about" link and all it gave me was that she "was born 4 years ago" and info about her family and what they do and where they are from and how close they are. Even in the dowloads, you can download a poster of her, but still, no statistics. If this was your child, aside from the fact that you would not have left her unattended, wouldn't you make the main focus of a site searching for her, about her and put out there her physical statistics so people will know exactly what to look for? By visiting the site alone, you walk away knowing a child is missing, but very little else, about her, other than she has a unique issue with her eye. (And honestly, you would probably have to be right up on her to see it.) If these people want to keep her in the publics eye, it wouldn't hurt to know EXACTLY what to look for.

Hmmm... it is mighty easy to find the numbers on where to send money, though...

It IS infuriating to have to watch these unbelievable moves by Gerry, knowing something horrible has happened to this child. It is infuriating that they are getting away with their neglect and quite possibly more. Where's the justice for this child?

The justice system seems to be on the side of GM and KM, Madelaine has been out of the equation for some time now. I say charge the parents with child endangerment, get them into court and all their so called mates and lets see if they perjure themselves or worse tell lies having just sworn on the bible. I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of information not getting out about Madelaine. And it seems that anybody who says or prints something that the McCanns dont agree with, it mysteriously disappears, just as little Madelaine did.

The McCann supporters succeeded in wrecking the Leicester Children's Services petition by filling the site with and accusations. The UK Mirror suffered the same fate. News agencies and forums have been threatened with lawsuits, and Brian, who was trying to help them find Madeleine, is so afraid of being sued he's given up. Many forums won't even print negative press about the family. I thought that newspapers here in the US would be harder on the McCanns but I was mistaken.

Why can these parents do no wrong in the government's eyes? Anybody with a speck of brain knows that what happened to Madeleine on May 3 was a result of their neglect. But they just skate free and go on with their lives. Their daughter isn't even the focus of this campaign anymore. GM's fortune, fame and popularity is.

The way I see it (and just my opinion of course..) is the site is not centered on finding a lost child. I feel the center focus of that site is to raise money, but for what I have not a clue...
IF the site was set up to raise awareness about a missing child then there would be not be wasted space with blog entries about daily teas and jogs. I think the pictures there are helpful but from the second day Madeleine went missing I have posted AND written to Team McCann suggesting they post pictures of her with her hair cut and dyed... which they didn't do.

Cali I didn't know the trolls had hit the Leicester Services petition site with ! I quit visiting the Mirror because of the .. I am very thankful we do not have to contend with that here!

The McCanns haven't done a lot of what people suggested about finding Madeleine. Posting pictures of her altered appearance, hiring detectives, going to Malta. No, they just want to rely on the Maddie posters and appeal to people's kindness and good sense to keep their eyes open. Because that doesn't cost money or put them out in any way.
