Yup, they are going to finally clear Murat and then turn their sights on the McCanns & Friends....this is where the truth lies, IMO, and I think the truth is finally about to come out.

However, I think it is already too late for beautiful little Madeleine, especially from the latest information. :(

oh my, where is little Madeleine.......hoping that the DNA comes back showing she is alive and well somewhere.

I think your right englishleigh, as sad as it is, if only they had checked out the McCanns and their friends thoroughly in the first place, this could all be over by now.

Honestly...I am about done with the media. I have just heard that they have finished the search at Murat's house and they found....nothing.

Check this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/player/nol/newsid_6930000/newsid_6931700/6931785.stm?bw=bb&mp=rm&asb=1&news=1

They are saying that over in the UK the BBC reported (on TV, no link) that they have finished searching the house. They also say that RM's two cars will be taking to the PJ (wonder why?).

I know what you mean. I also read they have 4 days in which to search the property (I don't know why 4). So, if that's the case, there is atleast one more day left.

The news of the scent dog finding traces of a dead body in the resort apartment makes me so angry and sad. Not wanting to jump to any conclusions, but I really can't see any scenario that doesn't involve the McCanns or their circle. If we do discover that the parents and/or friends were responsible for harming Madeleine resulting in her death and covered it up to save their tails, the entire world is going to come down on top of them so fast it will make their heads spin. I don't think it would even matter if it was accident, perpetuating this abduction fraud on decent law-abiding human beings, all the while collecting money to line their own coffers, would simply be too much to take in. There is no place far enough they could run. I hope I'm wrong and would love nothing more than for the Belgium sighting to be real, but I have misgivings that it's another wild goose chase.

Murat sure doesn't look troubled in this pic, there's also a good shot of his property:

Just saw on our news a more detailed outline about the search of RM's home, it showed the LE digging in his garden and the media asking RM some questions which he said he could not make any statements to the press, his lawyer then said that they are okay with the LE searching his home. The search of his home is being lead by the British LE. It then showed the McCanns holding hands and Maddy's toy in her other hand on the way to Mass this morning. Sadly no more new news.

No, he looks happy and relieved and I feel badly for him if he is really innocent. I think it's possible that someone from the "Pact of Silence" crew (hereafter known as the 🤬🤬🤬 Crew, which probably fits) was the one who even got that started with the reporters who went to the police, that Murat seemed suspicious....

Wow! The fact that the trained dogs detected the scent of a corpse in that apt. is SO telling! It's really starting to point directly to the parents/circle.

Even though the dogs didn't hit on Murat's garden or yard, soil samples from Casa Liliana were taken today to be analyzed for hair and clothing and blanket fibers. What's really sad is how the pro-McCann sympathizers are overlooking the lack of evidence at his home and continue to assert that he took Madeleine.

They describe KM's interview as heartbreaking. I would title it more like butt-saving.

I guess we'll have to see what happens next.

IF and imo it's a big IF little Maddie was killed in the apartment, wouldn't the twins have seen what went on? I mean they along with other children were in the apartment that night, right?

What other children?

I doubt a two year old would comprehend and be able to relate that their older sister was hurt or drugged. I have a two year old. Our dog died over three weeks ago and he's still asking where he is.

There has been a lot of speculation about the McCanns' friends' children, but the more we learn, the less likely it sounds that all of the kids were in the same room.

And Madeleine's death wouldn't have to be violent, especially if it was an overdose. More than likely if sedation was used, the twins were so out of it they didn't even notice what was going on.

Thinking along the same lines, like what has been stated in previous threads....the kids were sedated and Madelaine had a severe reaction causing death, it would also fit that if the children had not been checked on whilst parents were dining, she could have been dead for 2 hours or so.
The mind boggles, the McCanns and their circle of friends have a lot to answer for it they are found out that this is what happened.

I am to the point of not knowing what or who to believe. This whole case has been odd from the get go and it just seems to get crazier and crazier as each day goes by.

There is only one constant that stands out, no matter what: poor Maddie is missing. That is the only truth we can really rely on... sad.

Or she could've lain in the apartment for several hours while her parents and their friends tried to figure out what to do with her and how to make it look as if she'd been abducted.

Second Madeleine suspect on 24hr watch

'Man seen carrying child' under 24hr watch

Exclusive by Martin Fricker in Praia Da Luz, Portugal 06/08/2007

UNDERCOVER police have been secretly watching the second Madeleine McCann suspect round the clock for weeks - tailing him and capturing his movements on video tape.
The man first came under suspicion days after Madeleine disappeared from her parents apartment in the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz.
He was spotted by a police team who had taken over an empty holiday flat next door to the McCanns so they could film people hanging around the crime scene or acting strangely. Officers believe the man, who speaks Portuguese and is in his 30s, is not the actual kidnapper - but -----------------------

I so agree with you. Madeleine is still missing. No solid clues.

And the media stories are getting stranger and inconsistant and crazier with each passing day.

I wonder who the new suspect is or if he's linked to RM in any way. It would be interesting if this was a completely new person whom we know nothing about. This proves that the PJ aren't just focusing on one line of investigation and ignoring other evidence.

I'm getting really sick of reading all the redundant information from Kate McCann's interview. It's pretty obvious that the conditions for the reporter must have been submitting questions ahead of time, and she chose what to answer and what not. With some small exceptions, every single British newspaper carried bits and pieces of the chat, and they all say the same thing. KM is a caring mother, she made a mistake in thinking the resort was safe enough to leave her children alone, and she and GM are a team. It's a bad stab at damage control, and the pro-McCann people are just lapping it up.
