Where is that posted!? I must have missed it, and would like to see it!? PLs and thanks, in advance...

Mrs Fenn wasn't at home on May 2. There is a report that Madeleine cried on the May 2, too and that she was visited by a middle-aged couple.
This was reported in the media and is not in police files as it seems to come as a result of SYs later investigation.

Sorry it was long time ago... maybe volume 8 or 7

I think haden is referring to this post of theirs linked below with a video of the 2007 Dragon Boat Festival?:

There is no a single proof Madeleine's parents sedated her. They were on a 4 day holiday, would they take sedatives with them? Or did they buy them in the local pharmacy? All with an intention to sedate their kids?
I think a little bit of common sense is needed here ;)

Parents regularly buy antihistamine such as benadryl or phenergan to sedate children for flying,I think a common misconception seems to be that people hear "sedate " and immediately think sleeping pills.

Yes, that's it. Thank you! He was said to visited the festival and this festival was before Madeleine disappeared, it was in March 2007 This is how he apparently looked like at the time Madeleine disappeared.

not seen that before. mccanns never mentioned it. if true, it shows how easy it was to get into the apt - and out again without being noticed. 2 nights running.
This was mentioned on that day in the media and never again

I live in a town of circa 10,000 and always seem to see familiar faces!

CB was apparently befriending older women in PDL. According to his ex-girlfriend, he was seeing at least two older women, going for a meal with them, walking their dogs / cleaning their houses etc. This means he was listening to their stories and he possibly knew their contacts. Maybe he was choosing his victims this way? I wonder if he knew Mrs. Fenn because she was also a long term resident? ( Mrs Fenn has an attempted burglary not long before Madeleine went missing. On the night when Madeleine apparently cried she called a friend to ask about her opinion on what to do.. Friend's name has been mentioned. Was she CBs acquaintance? Did he learn from them MM was alone?)
This is what I have been thinking since I read his ex-girlfriend's story.
Also, is it only me thinking that he was actually living mostly out of these vile videos he was making.
We know SM was accused ( by his ex-partners girlfriend) of liking young girls, I mean teen girls, and his ex-business partner ( the accuser's husband) wrote about stealing young catholic girls from their mothers. Maybe CB knew these people as they had an internet cafe in PDL.
I know this is all very farfetched but this is what I have been thinking about..

the header translates to english as Bus. is this correctly translated?
"German detectives even followed Christian B when he traveled to the Netherlands by bus. At the border, they informed their Dutch colleagues about the arrival of the sex offender…"

is it possible CB had lost all his cars by 2018.
Yes IMO it means a public transport bus. (That is how German police knew its destination)

Regarding Mrs reporting that Madeleine had cried on the May 1. I saw a Portuguese news where Mrs Fenn said she never reported something like that to police. She did not even know the McCanns were there. How is this possible?
"Honestly, I have... I know nothing. I have been here three months, until all this happened. I've never spoken to a journalist, they've written rubbish in newspapers, I've never even uttered a word! I've never (sighs)... it's all rubbish! Please, please, just forget it."

Immediately before reaching PF entrance door, see the last window they pass. That is part of PF apartment, it's a bedroom. In the burglary of this apartment in April 2007, it is in my opinion probable through this window the man entered, and also exited.

IMO burglar(s) was using exact same technique to enter through shuttered window at 5L then at 5G then at 5A.

I think it’s just because we don’t use umlaut in English but could be wrong lol

That's right. It's very common to replace ä with ae, ö with oe & ü with ue. The earliest word-processing & email software was developed in US/UK & couldn't handle accented characters well, so this was adopted as a standard alternative spelling.

(Not to do with typewriters, as the solution there was to backspace & add a double quotation mark over the letter, eg u plus " to make ü.)

I think it's pronounced "BRUCKNA" ( or Brooke - na)

Hard to convert german Umlaute to english spelling but the word "brückner or brueckner" (same in german) is spoken like "bruyckner"!

RM and CB both longish term residents of a place with just 3500 inhabitants. wonder if they ever met?
estate agent has access to houses, gets to look around inside, meets the owners, sometimes even gets keys...
might be a type of contact of interest to a burglar.

I'm not suggesting any wrong doing by RM, however, it is a coincidence. Back in 2007 you would expect it to be a line of enquiry by the PJ, hope they didnt miss it...

Ref KM saying ‘they’ve taken her’ - could be using ‘they’ as ‘her or ‘she’ on the basis that KM seemed naive about the prospects of paedophiles in 2007 - from her book or media interviews after - and may have defaulted to kidnap for a family desperate for a child, especially as they’d had ivf/struggles for their own girl.
I think :someone' is what most of us would use. Gender neutral and suggests an unknown person. I just think 'they've' is an odd choice. suggestive of knowing someone. That is why I wonder if MM had reported being scared by thinking someone was there one night which was interpreted as a bad dream? Which is how most parents do interpret their kids reports of scary things.

Wouldn't surprise me if he knew SM too given their common interests in computers.

Am I right in thinking the elderly rape victims name is in RM's phone contacts?
RM as in Robert Murat? Or another person that I've missed along the way?
