According to the investigation by Sexta9, CB had another (phone) number during the 6 months before MM disappeared. I assume they mean a phone number.
CB is known to have had the habit of giving fake addresses and fake jobs to LE whenever he was questioned.
He also kept a secret (secret to LE) phone number. Might be the number that has been released recently by German LE and places him in PdL, provided he was the carrier.
I can imagine CB having more that one mobile phone for his complicated and twisted way of life. One or more for "business" and one or more for "private".

Could THIS be why MM had asked her mother something to effect of why she hadn't come when her and Sean had been crying the night before? Did the mystery couple successfully enter the apartment while the parents weren't there and comfort MM? If that had actually happened though, why didn't the mystery couple call police to report three tiny unattended children lacking adult supervision? Or, why didn't they stay to ensure the safety and well being of the tots? Why no confrontation between them and the parents?

Could this have been a trial run? A grooming exercise? Could CB have gone in the night before, perhaps WITH a woman??

I don't know, I kind of get the feeling that this sighting of the middle aged couple is perhaps not all that credible. I've never even heard about it apart from this article, you'd think something that significant would have been talked about a lot more in the Press and documentaries if it was true? Did they just see the parents coming home? Or another resident in the OC? Was it actually 5A they went in to?

Interesting about the rape at the Dragon Festival in 2007. We know MT was at the festival, not clear whether CB was there too.

Also, didn't know about the 10yr old in PDL that HCW says forms part of their investigation. Also interesting.

I'm not suggesting any wrong doing by RM, however, it is a coincidence. Back in 2007 you would expect it to be a line of enquiry by the PJ, hope they didnt miss it...

That’s all I hope too, Apr. That the rape wasn’t already shelved as a “cold case” by May 2007 so not looked into. And that German LE went through those files with a fine toothed comb when CB came onto the scene...

The plot deepens, it amazes me, how many serious crimes go unsolved, but I do know, that a lot of crimes get solved, through people who know the suspects, but then fall out, and then they give the police the information years later

Pamela Fenn heard crying on the 1st according to her witness statement, tho it is consistently reported as the 2nd by MSM. It also says she was out on the 2nd so heard nothing that night.

Lots of reports of KMs first reaction is 'they've' taken her not someone. Now this report states that when they returned after searching KM was saying the f@#$ing b@#$@#ds have taken her - plural. Even in a distressed state my first thought would be unknown someone singular. So I still find that unusual.

German police have said they have reasons to believe someone else has knowledge of the events of that night. That seems, to me at least, more definite than a request for witnesses.

MM did not cry the night she was abducted which I've always assumed was because she remained asleep or was silenced. But could it have been because she had already been comforted? I doubt CB would have been a comforting figure.

This would have been all over the news if KM had known some strange couple had walked into her apt the night before to comfort her crying child! It wasn't. I don't think KM even knew someone had entered at the time.

To be fair it is in the Daily Express which is worse of the UK tabloids for inaccuracies. Which given the others is no mean fear.
