Well but this is what their relations were told in tel calls that night from Gerry McCann. He's the one who talked about jemmied windows. doors wide open, Madeleine being abducted, etc. At least 4 people related to him and Kate McCann all referred to the above, based on individual tel calls from him/her? to them, and it was how it was sensationally reported in the news the next day by those same relatives. They presumably reported what they'd been told

Sometimes I get the impression you seem a little unsympathetic towards the MC's story and a inclined to defend the PJ in other posts - Of course we're all here to sleuth and question things, that's our prerogative, but I'm just interested to know what your theory is about what have may have happened to MM?

I really hope so. It's the first time we've seen action on the ground in Portugal since this kicked off. Been wondering why no searches have been made, no cadaver dogs on his properties. Maybe they had a particular sight in mind all along.

Vila do Bispo, that is nowhere near the finca. never heard the place mentioned before... which could be a good sign they have something new.

Maybe they just found out where they need to search? I’m gonna guess there area lot of old wells around the area.

I was thinking the same. They’re adamant someone else was involved in *some* way. Maybe that person has either been found... Or LE were waiting in the long grass... Waiting for a certain someone to return to a particular area...

Maybe it’s tactical? They had info all along that that’s where they needed to focus but didn’t want to make that information public, to lead someone into a false sense of security to see if anyone showed up...

Anyone know who the missing person case from Silves might be? They're saying that is being linked to CB as well. Only thing I can find is about a 79 year old man as a missing person there which doesn't sound like CB's MO.

There must be a reson for searches at Vila do Bispo. It's 20min. from PDL, so a possible destination (I think a destination less than 30min. away had to be available).

The best would be to find the original text in German. I assume that lady witness spoke in German.
But either way, what ever CB said about children, drunk or not, it shows his disrespect for them.

Jan 2018... CB was in jail in Germany.
unless the person is the connection, rather than the date he went missing.
