here's what i currently have for 2017-2019. i agree it is a bit confusing - esp. regarding the date when the 21 months sentence began. i wonder whether he has also been serving extra time in germany - for the other german convictions that may have had suspended sentences.

21 months from october 2018 (i.e. the full sentence) would be up in june 2020.
as he still seems to be applying for parole (two thirds of the sentence) the dates don't add up. so, is he serving another sentence on top of the drugs sentence? did he not go straight to prison in october 2018?
the other question is, why didn't he serve the 2011 suspended sentence when they had him in 2016?

there is another part of the 2017-2019 timeline that is up for debate. whether the 72 year old american, was actually on the video that CB showed in the bar in 2017.

What has been recorded on video?
2004 we know HB was filmed in her PdRocha hotel apt. she is irish, 20. no wooden beams here. #1 film
2005 american woman is filmed in her home. Jacaranda. she is 72/73. no wooden beams here. #2 film

2006 tape recordings [A] found in Finca during ‘fake’ robbery
2 people on this tape?
a younger woman tied to a wooden beam, most likely the beam in the Finca. this person must be #3 film.
an older woman. saying 'help' in italian.

I will try to write in English what I think.
I insist with the 2016 German article, when the police discover the box factory, based on complaints from neighbors.
The German police find his files and phones. They announce that they will analyze what they have found to decide what to do with the subject. He is not present.
They are my assumptions but I believe that everything begins at that moment.
CB escapes to Foral, perhaps he is on probation for previous drug convictions.
The German police find evidence of CB's crimes at the factory, they slowly analyze and begin questioning their friends. Investigators try to arrest him with the concrete evidence they have (possession of child ). But he is not in Germany.
They extradite CB from Portugal when they detain him in the playground. In Germany they prosecute CB for the rape of the American lady. But they cannot hold CB for the crimes for which he was extradited. The conviction for the rape is not yet confirmed. They release CB and watch him. He escapes to Italy.
The history of the pub is a story by MT or one of the friends who goes to the farm. That story (and Maddie's story) is told by one of them in the 10th anniversary call to TV, in the investigation, and then in court. Everything is misrepresented in the media and there was no pub in Germany.
CB may have retrieved his treasures from the farm, he may have bought the Allegro from BP or AB, with his treasures and his other cars. That way he could have a comfortable place to live and work in traffic. Perhaps the phrase "I have to do something terrible" refers to selling the Jaguar.
It seems to me that in relation to Maddie they only have the confessions that he has made to his real and virtual friends, which perhaps are very credible. And the location of the cell phone.
The issue of young German criminals sent to the Algarve may be a good indication. They can form a group with loyalty ties to CB. A group that shares the same life story, the same pathologies and, perhaps, crimes committed in complicity. They may have 2007 data and may have been silent.

You can also see by the photos and description of the property. It states 3 bedrooms overlook the pool and beach, and the fourth overlooks the terrace and jacuzzi. You can tell from the difference in what you see of the palm trees in the pictures that the terrace is on a higher level.
