It's obvious that somebody is talking. Hopefully the police reveal their further evidence today.
They are probably searching the area where the camper van was recently spotted on the satellite images taken shortly after Madeleine disappeared. It was mentioned that there were several wells and water systems in the area. You can see one of the wells in the picture.

It was not far from the house where he was believed to be living at the time, if I remember correctly.

And then there’s the older woman who was 20 years older that misha told us about... He must have had them all on the go at the same time  I wonder if they all knew about each other. I dunno how he managed it, sleeping out of a campervan. He must of stunk. o_O Whatever floats ya boat eh.

Kiki, who's MISCHA?

She was still with R at this time. They said that when R left, CB and NF became a couple IIRC.

I understood RS left before May 3, 2007 but must check again.

If they are looking at that location because of the VW van photo, they also need to look in wells around Barranco beach.

But they think he took pic at Praia Boca do Rio. How could it be?

I wonder when they say the LE are working with the neighbors they mean the Detective? Perhaps he was renting out his house in Foral at the time?

I can't help but wonder why he was carrying a bible and a card for a lawyer when CB was picked up?

RE: The bible, it was suggested a few threads back that this could have been to aid in begging - it’s apparently a strategy in Italy.

"The wells are located next to the road that leads to Boa do Rio beach"

Autoridades procuram corpo de Maddie em três poços

Nice pics. Pity not police operation.

First it was Praia Boca do Rio (English source), now it's Praia Boa do Rio (Port. source) for which Google Maps returns no results (Google directs to things related to Rio de Janeiro). Did Expresso newspaper miss the "C"?

So, PJ said during these searches they discovered fundamental evidence to link him with Madeleine. What this could be?

Yes, it would have been used as a prop - to make himself look religious in a Catholic Country.
I live in famous University City and you often see beggars here sitting 'reading' English Classics - the Freshers fall for it every time thinking the beggars are interested in educating themselves.

I think it's just a play on words - 3 weeks ago it was 'concrete' evidence. Same evidence imo.

That "fundamental evidence" is controversial about source. It seems to be PJ's but I read somewhere it was from German LE so that they could start well explorations. Perhaps next Friday Sandra Felgueiras will tell.

The one thing we can be sure so far is that's not "forensic evidence".

I was trying to look for the definition of fundamental evidence but no luck...

As many of us here at websleuths together determined, the photo is at Praia do Barranco (not at Praia Boca do Rio) I would stake my entire sleuthing reputation on it. Any newspaper stating otherwise is simply wrong.

I was trying to look for the definition of fundamental evidence but no luck...

concrete = existing in a material or physical form; not abstract.
fundamental = forming a necessary base or core; of central importance.
forensic = relating to or denoting the application of scientific methods and techniques to the investigation of crime.

(I know it won't help much)
