Is that against any rules? I'll consider that if his lawyer files a complain.

That's correct. They were surprised by that cake as it was purposeless. NF said she made cakes in excess. The cake remained at kitchen and was untouched.

Women left about 4pm from party in NF's house because their girl fall down and injured a knee. NF tried to discourage them because it was too early (without insisting). Later in the day NF went to women's house at a time police was there. She said she wanted to know about girl's knee and told police girl and her daughter were friends in school, something women confirmed.
TY. So the house of the the 2 women was burgled while the 2 women were at a child birthday party at NF's house?

Yes. As I understood it it was between 30-60min. after they left that NF got a call that cleared way to enter when she answered "natürlich".

Back up a moment pls. IRCC CB did not wear the goggles - his victim did, no?

AAh well in that case - Ignore my analysis.
He'd have put them on her so she couldn't see him obvs - Also I suppose they're quite tight fitting so no way of slipping off.

Coincidence isn't it o_O

I googled 'blacked- out swimming goggles', and up came anti-fog goggles, and mirrored goggles.
It's got me thinking...

Which ones were used, and for what purpose? Or were they customized for a specific use?

I get the usage for not being identified...
Could they also have been used for protection from say, water, or acid, or something else?

I keep thinking of CB cutting the roof off one of his vans to catch rain water to use for a bath. Could drowning have been involved in this manner? Hate having to think about that, but I'd like to know everyone's thoughts on this.

Madeleine McCann cops warned Portuguese police her disappearance may be linked to German-based child-trafficker

"It's been reported that British detectives raised concerns that Madeleine had been spotted with a German man getting into a VW van weeks after she vanished.

We now know this is the make of the vehicle the Madeleine suspect drove".

I don't recall having read that statement previously, but if you've seen it already... just ignore and carry on. If this is true though... they may have a better case against CB than we think

All in the case are coincidences, Ted. They didn't tell NF they had the money in purse, but NF might understand something they said. Also she stayed in car with her grand-daughter and might have asked questions (that wasn't mentioned, not even her age). Again, a burglar must trash the house searching for hiding places. Yet Diesel (thread's principal to newcomers) only touched the place where women used to get money from to pay NF.

No, just seems pointless. We get it, he had a nickname.

I like the nickname. Does that disturb you that much?

Could they have been scuba diving goggles? Much more robust -
Yes, the van with the sawn off roof, that's an odd one - maybe he had some kind of manic moment. ..........idiotic thing to do.

I agree - I was being sarcastic, sorry I should have said - TBH this burglary stinks of CB and NF imo.

That thing of sawing must be a joke. The roof can be lifted. Did he ever fill that with water?

I understood it, but wanted to tell how sarcastic that is.

My concern with using a nickname that is also a reasonably common name might mean that someone googles a friend, a job applicant or a relative etc and see CD listed as a suspect in this case - a case he probably knows nothing about and wasn't involved in. CB's lawyer probably wouldn't complain but any CD's lawyer probably would!!

We can take this a bit deeper actually - he may have had her wear them so she couldn't see him (she'd be even more terrified). But it may also have been another way to dehumanize his victim. Its hard to view someone who's eyes are covered as human. At some point, she took them off or he removed them from her as they were found by the robbers who cleared his stash of robbery items from the house when he was arrested for diesel theft. Why did he do this?

If he took the time to put them on her or have her do it - she'd have seen him (whatever part of him there was to see in whatever light may have been available).

If he took them off her or had her remove them - she'd have seen him again (unless he told her keep eyes shut). Why remove them or have her remove them is my bigger question. Was he remorseful? Needed to see her eyes for some reason? Or was it just to see how hurt and scared she really was? There is some serious motive behind that even if I can't see it.

I would understand better if it was CB complaining about calling him Chris Diesel. And I guess he would. But there's enough people complaining. So I'll drop it regretfully for CB's joy if he's reading.
