I can't read Daily Mail stuff (ad blocked) but are they talking about NF here? If so, I think that claim conflicts with German LE's statements that the phone which called CB's phone was not in the area of PdL.

AFAIK it's the SIM rather than the phone itself which is important. You could purchase a pre-paid SIM card for use a specific country in 2007 & the phone number would connect to the network in that country [..] It was a lot more cost effective than roaming charges in Europe at the time. The card could have been purchased at an airport outlet in Portugal.

I seem to recall this is what NF did in the cash-theft incident - went into a shop to buy a SIM (presumably to all CB). It was probably easier than organising a top-up.

No, this research was based on a study by Dr Michael Seto 2008. I do remember it being challenged at the time.
So many variables were taken into account and it has since been updated and revised down to 1%.

lets say that it is 1%, and 33% of that are in the right age group..so thats 0.33%.

0.33% of 10,000,000 is 33,000 people.

So i think we agree that the figure is between 33,000 and 85,000 yes?

and considering that in portugal most people live on the coast..according to world data 65% of its population is there.

there are 92,000 sq km in portugal and less than 5% of it is withiin 10 miles of the coast..so maybe 10,000 sq km where 20,000 peadophiles live.

2 per sq km?..and thats using the conservative figure of 0.33%.

but lets not get lost in the detail, the message is that despite what we may think, they are amongst us and in much greater numbers than you realise.
P.S. edit: i realise that some people here dont agree with this angle, but to those i would say that i didnt seek to use this figure as basis for my theory- it as only when i had a thought to actually check to see how prevalent it was. i didnt foresee the figure but when i did the math it still didnt surprise me.

Description to me sounds very like DF.
I am also remembering the writing on the box factory wall “My girlfriend offended me, betrayed me & taught me hatred”.
We have heard from the lady that CB & NF robbed that she thought Nicole was the dominant one.
I’m aware that’s it’s also been said that CB & NF met in 2006, imo that could turn out to be nonsense. I think NF was the girl CB initially went to Portugal with.
I believe it’s possible NF encouraged CBs life of crime & then screwed him over in talks with the police trying to save her own skin? Does anyone think it’s possible that DF is Meissner & CB Frankel?
Also the reflection in the camper van window at Malaga, I also believe that to be NF & have thought that since 1st seeing it.

I do find it strange that HCW omitted to provide an approximate location ping for the unidentified mobile, which suggests that the 7.32pm call may be the only one logged to the number during a lengthy period. I can see no other reason why its owner would be so difficult to trace.

Do you have a link showing MWT linking the number to Diogo Silva?
As I recall, it was the Portuguese media who came up with that name.

FRANKEL is actually FRÄNKEL
And FRÄNKEL may also be written as FRAENKEL
So yes to some extent they're interchangeable
