I think she’s had a long standing interest in the case and feels personally invested after all this time. I also think she wants to make up for her previous reporting, esp the ask the dogs interview with GM, after hearing her on the Netflix doc

0.33% of 10,000,000 is 33,000 people.

So i think we agree that the figure is between 33,000 and 85,000 yes?

and considering that in portugal most people live on the coast..according to world data 65% of its population is there.

there are 92,000 sq km in portugal and less than 5% of it is withiin 10 miles of the coast..so maybe 10,000 sq km where 20,000 peadophiles live.

2 per sq km?..and thats using the conservative figure of 0.33%.

but lets not get lost in the detail, the message is that despite what we may think, they are amongst us and in much greater numbers than you realise.
P.S. edit: i realise that some people here dont agree with this angle, but to those i would say that i didnt seek to use this figure as basis for my theory- it as only when i had a thought to actually check to see how prevalent it was. i didnt foresee the figure but when i did the math it still didnt surprise me.

Your figures become more understandable if you add that the term applies to minors from a range of ages - including teens. So it isn't all three year olds or ten year olds it's also adolescents young teens.

And they are very different and their modes of operation are different.

Teens can be groomed shockingly easily. Especially on line. Smaller children like MM not so much - perhaps groom parents or complicit parents. Or abduction.

When referring to adolescents it's awful to say that some people can be accepting of the crime. Last year a footballer groomed a 15 yr old child and lots of folks supported him.

But CB seems unusual in that he'd harm any age. I do wonder if NF marketed the teens in her care and through that was asked about younger children. But it's only speculation on my part

I do find it strange that HCW omitted to provide an approximate location ping for the unidentified mobile, which suggests that the 7.32pm call may be the only one logged to the number during a lengthy period. I can see no other reason why its owner would be so difficult to trace.

Yes, I agree that people who have "paedophilic tendencies" is more prevalent than we would like to admit, but that's not to say that all of them are paedophiles (in the diagnostic term) and even many them would find the abduction and murder of a child abhorrent.
I'm not justifying paedophilia but just saying that the area is very nuanced and cannot be measured by such blunt tools.

I couldn’t find any record of her being a receptionist (aside from the article) so I’m assuming that’s quite recent.

A = Augsburg, Bavaria.

Hanover would be H.

Jaguar had M = München plates in 2004.

It is of interest to note (or remember, I don't know as threads go long) that German plates (at the time at least) were personal and were not only city-specific but also would be changed whenever car changed hands or owner changed address (both cases even within same city).
