Something like a 6M daily soap you could reduce to a 90min. movie (or less). Chitchat keeps this alive. We're quite limited by scarce evidence released or maybe we could do better here IMHO.

I just remember something that I read somewhere that Germans in PDL used to meet on Thursdays in Cave Bar in PDL and this Cave Bar is just bellow SMs flat. So, the question is whether CB was taking parts in these meets and whether he knew SM

But we know her daughter might have been born on Nov. 1 (party's day). If she was already born in 2003 (Mathias brought her to Algarve), maybe she was born in 2002 or before. On Nov. 1, 2002 she was 25.

Yes idle chit chat by people who like the idea of being called sleuths but betray their ignorance with some of the things they come up with. You are right, the newspapers give better information and I never thought I would agree with it.

Sm IMO is also connected to the dastardly plot along with RM and Hewlett. RM tried to hide the meeting the next day with him and the phone call on the fateful night.

Apparently the cake that Nicole brought to the two ladies was used to observe from where the ladies fetched their money to pay Nicole for her services.
Soon after having brought the cake, 6000 euro's disappeared from the house of the two ladies.
So not only were 100.000 euro's stolen, but also 6000 euro's for which the cake was used as some kind of signal.
I can't make out whether the 6000 disappeared the same day that the 100.000 did or whether it was another day.

just to be clear. i am not saying that the call was necessarily made from portugal. i am merely saying the phone has a portuguese number... so it is v likely it was bought/first registered in portugal. which means if the person using the phone, actually bought the phone - then they were in portugal when they bought the phone. phew! )))

Question though: would it have been possible back in 2007 to buy a SIM card FOR Portugal but not be IN Portugal at the time of the purchase? Eg: could you have bought a SIM card for it online and had it shipped to wherever you were? I seem to remember we did this when we had to travel abroad... I just got a local SIM card to use when I was over in the other place, but they mailed it to my home before we left. Don't ask me what year that was in though... I'd guess 2008 but don't quote me!

Or, could someone have bought it in Portugal then given it to someone in Germany? Just a thought...

I seem to recall this is what NF did in the cash-theft incident - went into a shop to buy a SIM (presumably to all CB). It was probably easier than organising a top-up.

Mail article described her as a ‘hotel receptionist’. Do we know where and when?

Is the dog she was walking in the photos one of CB’s dogs (Ms Mueller?). I can’t remember what it looked like.

The article also says the Winnebago had Hanover plates. Does that match with the
A DD 123 plate from thread 11? I can’t remember what bits of the number plate correlate to what areas.

If they now say she worked at OC where MM stayed......... BOOM!
