The Mcanns paid the price for their sheer middle class arrogance (interviews/changing story to fit their narrative) and ignorance in leaving 3 yes THREE v young defenceless children in a vulnerable apartment with doors open in a hotel without cameras in a foreign country where they didn't speak the language. Then expect fbi like searches from a small village police force whilst billing the public 12million +. if it is CB then its bad imo. Pretty much everyone here cares not about them but about that poor little girl, we just want to know what happened. People know what happened. Can they not get a deal with police, what turds of existence can live with that. In reality and reviewing the information, I feel the evidence is not compelling or conclusive otherwise I'm sure they'd have had this guy charged long ago.

It's worth pointing out that many hotels at that time offered a "baby listening service," whereby staff would check at doors to ensure children in apartments remained asleep. So the T9s' decision to do so wasn't unique for the time and place. However unpalatable it seems.

The difference was they were doing the checks themselves, because - unlike most MW resorts - the Ocean Club did NOT offer a "baby listening" service. That is unfortunately another security loophole that someone in the know could exploit.

According to the black rim on the tire in the night pic, that i can't see in the other pics although we assume, the van hasn't moved, is the photoshop theory that far fetched? Some optical specialists in here?

IMO the size of the rim could even fit some kind of shade of a small person, sitting in front of the wheel? Can that theory be ruled out please....?!

@photographer4 @Sharkbite

???
Someone catch me up pls!? What am I looking at/for?! O_o off to google news as I am MONTHS behind!

Ok, I can probably easily debunk this theory that it might be MM's head of hair. If it had been placed there, wouldn't it be dirty / greasy / tangled?? I believe its a weird wheel well interior that we're seeing thanks to the light.

At other resorts MW offered that service within enclosed holiday compounds. It would be IMO risky to offer such a service where apartments are accessed by public streets as in PdL.

Actually that makes perfect sense @redplanet The resort was nestled amidst the local community and not gated off.

The pig farmer from Pedragosa - CB's neighbor early 2007

The 3km back track from BSJ to PDL runs through Pedragosa.

Questioned for the 3rd time in Dec 2014
Madeleine McCann police quiz rapist pig farmer for 6 hours

Chances that CB knew this person are very high IMO.

I wonder what could have prompted this 3rd questioning 7 years after he was cleared?

That SM/RM/horrible job that changes lives - thing still keeps odd to me.

I know, i can't talk for others, but if i had been accused of a horrible crime, had been ruled out officially and maybe got money for a false accusation, i would put a line under it and keep on living my life under the radar.

But others seem to be keen on putting their heads in front of a camera years after, maybe for money?!

Although i do not know RM and SM in person, they still make unpleasent feelings to my stomach. Just call it intuition...

What about an CB/SM look-a-like-speaking english-together selling drugs for sex-theory?

Who could need cheap stolen hardware whilst building up a computer business?

Damn, i need more info from HCW!;)

This is true! So it has always puzzled me as to how any Portuguese LE could say the McCanns feared a charge of child neglect.. surely the Country has rules and regulations that companies such as MW would be aware of, and therefore, this baby listening service would be illegal/neglectful. X

The pig farmer's British girlfriend was previously the girlfriend of SM's former business partner according to this report from Jan 2008

The man whose physiognomy is similar to that of the robot portrait drawn from the testimony of a tourist who vacationed at Praia da Luz in April, shortly before Madeleine McCann disappeared, was reported to the Judiciary Police (PJ) by the former British girlfriend of a former partner of SM, the Russian computer scientist who is one of the witnesses in the case, DN found.

Can you rule out, if the pic has been photoshopped? The front wheel looks like if it has been altered IMO.

P.J. POLICE FILES: SERGEY MALINKA & SVETLANA MALINKA

There is a lot to read about:

"Bestiality"
"Paedophile material"
"Christian"

"Alison informs us that 4 years ago her boyfriend Cristian was spending two nights at Sergei Malinka's home when, upon going to send an email from one of Sergei's computers and upon joining an attachment he saw paedophile material. When asked for explanations, Sergei told him that it was a client's computer and that he would denounce the fact to the pertinent authorities the following day."

Just what I was going to say redplanet. That they weren't prepared to offer that service in a more open compound speaks volumes. It would have been an insurance nightmare. 5A does not look like a very secure location

While the intruder was climbing in bedroom window, what if the child ran and climbed on back of sofa to attract attention of adult outside? It would be possible to fall between sofa back and wall and trap chin in such a way as to produce fatal result? Found a case of that happening (last part only). What would the intruder do then?
Don't forget how young she was.

Would a child MMs age be that clever / clued in? Not just to run and try and alert adults at a window but to even remotely know she was in danger? She had no reason to fear adults and would have gone past the fear of strangers phase.

At very best nursery might have told her not to go with strange people without checking with parents but I doubt they'd have prepared her for a stranger in her house. CB clearly knew how to con adults into thinking he was an ok guy and children are far easier.

I think darkness would scare her, being alone without her parents would scare her, unseen noises would scare her but a 'nice' man chatting about finding mummy? I'm not sure.

I would predict that when awoken by the shutters being opened and a man (possibly CB) climbing in the bedroom window, an intelligent 47 months old child would be very scared and would go rapidly to whichever room the child believed the parents are in, IMO.

Yes, I think it's likely she was ambushed. Been reading the statements from her parents and the Tapas folk and they nearly all asserted that MM wouldn't have gone off with a stranger and a few said she would would have protested and screamed. I think if she was scared or afraid on previous nights, the sudden appearance of a strange man in the apartment would be terrifying.

If these are tips from British holiday makers but German LE need to follow up "on the ground" in Portugal, I wonder what it relates to? Properties? Residents?

Vehicles, places, properties, fellows and times i would assume.
